Their menu offers a wide variety of specialty items, while upholding top notch quality and consistency. My family and I love the dining room's warm ambiance, comfortable and fun bar setting and all of our amazing experiences! Absolutely deserving 5-stars! Highly highly recommend!”

“My family and I had a burial service at a cemetery in Maple Park this past Saturday 6/7. We were expecting around 20 people to attend. We planned on going to Bootleggers for lunch afterword. My daughter called the Monday before and set everything up. Gave them the number of people and what time we would be there. We arrived and they had no idea that we were coming. Whomever took the phone call on Monday didn't relay the info to the Saturday staff. All that being said, our server, I did not get her name, crushed it. She had the whole place to wait on, and she did a fantastic job. She didn't get frustrated (at least at what I could tell), she kept our drinks refilled. She was great. The only issue was the made my wife's sandwich wrong, but that is not the servers fault. She corrected the problem and all was well. I can not say enough good things about this server. You have a good one with her, let me tell you.
The only bummer, pizza was not available for lunch.

“Everything we ordered was exceptional, including the best cheese curds ever and chocolate chip cake that ticks every box (and then some). Our waitress was so fun and treated us like family. We were only passing by on I-88 but the side trip was totally worthwhile. Thanks for being awesome, Lodi Tap House!”

“We rode our bikes uptown Sycamore and wanted a healthy bite for lunch. We were super happy when we stopped by The Village Restaurant and met the owner, Jean, a sincere and kind person! The chicken and pork skewers were delicious and cooked perfectly. Another "surprise and delight" for us was the homemade tzatziki sauce—oh my!!! Jean recommended her homemade Greek avgolemono soup... this lemon chicken cream soup gets an A+! Water infused with lemon and cucumber was a nice touch. I highly recommend The Village Restaurant. We will be back soon, as this 5-star establishment is extremely memorable!”

“Stopped 1st time and purchased an Iced Mocha - perfectly made, not too sweet and a nice bold, rich coffee and mocha flavor. So many times when I order a Mocha from places it is too sweet or lacks the bold coffee flavor, Hinckley Coffee House nailed it and made it just the way I always hope for. Thanks, will be back.”

“4 of us had dinner there last night. Used to be a favorite place. None of us will return. Food was terrible. Ribs, salad., brisket, turkey all thumbs down. Fries overcooked and nearly burned. Onion rings heavy tasteless greasy doughy batter.”

“very displeased with the way my situation was handled. I ordered a Denver omelette and something in it was spoiled made me violently ill. I sent the Omelette back in turn they I wanted something else, so I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. when we paid for our meal you would think that they would comp The Omelette meal for me being sick and it being spoiled they did not inreturn they charged everything a la carte the pancakes and the hash browns down to the onions. the only thing they took off was the omelette. and then still charged me for the biscuits and gravy also. very very poor service you sell somebody something spoiled. end up sick from the spoiled food and not only did I have to pay monetarily I also paid physically for it. two breakfast meals two coffees one soda one of which we cannot eat $45. we will not be back. however I will say the waitress we had was amazing and it was not her fault. she was the best part of our service there.”
