Pointers Saloon Reviews
Pointer’s Saloon allowed me to host a Celebration of Life type event. They accommodated between 20-30 people on a Saturday night in their dining area which later lead us to the bar area. The owner personally came and greeted me and gave his condolences. The staff was absolutely amazing, attentive, friendly and fast! They had food made ON TIME & kept up with our add ons. It made for a wonderful night on a sad occasion. I highly recommend them whether for a late night beverage...read full review
Wonderful place great food and amazing service!!
New Owner won’t accept gift cards that clearly state it is for pointers that was revived at Christmas time. The name and look of the entire restaurant stays the same but won’t honor the gift cards. We ordered $54 of food and not only was the card not honored but the food was not even prepared right we didn’t even eat most of it shrimp was soggy, burger undercooked, and steak sandwich over cooked Disappointing and frustrating to say the least. We will not be going back...read full review

Pointers Saloon is a great place with great food and a nice atmosphere. The menu has fish fry, turkey club, grilled chicken, hamburger and cocktails. Some say the fish fry was really good, moist and flaky with a nice fried breading. The turkey club was also very good. Grilled chicken was very soft and good, a little too much salt, and the hamburger was very good. Cocktails are very good and the beer selection is decent. The drinks are top notch, although prices have gone up higher, with an Old Fashion 13.00 and certain beers also higher. The owner is very nice and helps deliver food to the tables. Staff and bartenders are very nice, with outstanding service and top notch drinks. The kitchen music is too freaking loud and can be noisy, especially when the place gets busy and tables are close together. A screaming child can add to the noise. Overall it is pretty good and many will be repeat customers as the new owners hit their stride.
