This was horribly organized Easter Brunch. 1pm reservation since Feb 20th for 5 people. We did not get seated until 215pm. We saw a gentleman seating everybody else and when I said something to the hostess she said it was Niko the owner, therefore the owner was seating everybody else that came after us and we watched it happen and the hostess apologized. At least 10ppl before us, it was unorganized from the beginning. The line was 30 min long to the buffet. Unfortunately, because of the long wait time to get to our table and by the time we made it to the buffet line, they were out of potatoes, prime rib, shrimp, and pork loin etc. I am sorry but I did not come here to pay 50 dollars for some cold scrambled eggs and bacon. Unfortunately, after waiting 2 and a half hours to to eat we DID NOT... I had to bring dirty plates back on 2 seperate occasions and go to the kitchen to get silverware after my 3 remaining family members age 70 came back from getting what they had left at the buffet. Do not waste your time. THIS IS THE WORST EASTER BRUNCH I HAVE EVER HAD. IF YOU ARE GOING TO NEED RESERVATIONS DO NOT HAVE A FREE FOR ALL FOR SEATING FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT HAVE RESERVATIONS, THEREFORE OVER LOOKING EVERY RESERVATION THAT WAS MADE PRIOR. I guess you need to have a personal connection in order to get world class service and seated sooner without a reservation and food. We got so desperate I asked for a restaurant menu. Not available at this time. Glasses dirty at table and cracked water glass... Our server was not attentive, my one positive statement about my horrible easter is that the one kind woman who was a server at another table tried to assist in resolving the issue of the lack of food to accomodate the easter brunch they promoted. I thanked her and she was lovely. I JUST WANT TO SAY I CAME FOR BRUNCH AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS COFFEE CAKE. I left it on the table I did not come here for coffee cake, I came here for brunch but instead got dirty plates, dirty water cup, a cracked water cup, and no meat for the 50 dollar brunch package that contained bacon and grey eggs from sitting in the pan for so long. HAPPY EASTER... This is my first time at this Nikos and after this horrible experience let me rephrase embarrasing experience, I will no longer frequent any of their establishments. We go once sometimes twice a month.. NEVER AGAIN.

We celebrated my Mom's 80th birthday with the whole family here. The staff was incredible getting the food out to us correctly and hot. Making sure everyone was happy and got everything they wanted.

We have been here before for a Saturday night prime rib special, which is delicious. It was the best prime rib I’ve ever had. That time we had great service and sat at the bar.However, we went back Friday night for my birthday. I had the bone-in ribeye. I’ve had better. My husband ordered the filet. I had salad and he had the clam chowder. Service could have been better. We sat at the bar again. Very busy and hard to get bar attendant’s attention. Don’t recommend sitting near the door street side in winter because it gets really cold with people holding door open. Do recommend establishment put up wind blocking material to help at both entrances.After we arrived home Friday 1/19/24, he was violently ill. We think it was from the clam chowder. He’s still weak, but doing better. I’m posting just in case anyone else may have been affected as well and Hope management will take the necessary precautions.

I was hopeful coming here for the first time in 23 years. Came here when it was still Kitsch's and the steaks were beyond out of this world. Tonight was okay. Was mostly bummed that when my husband ordered the all-you-can-eat fish fry, the waitress said that we could also get the fish grilled. Two of us did just that at her suggestion. When we asked for a second helping, knowing it was all you can eat, we were informed that was for the fried fish only and not the grilled. Serious bait and switch. Waitress had a responsibility to tell us this and didn't. It was very good, but not worth the Supper Club prices.

Yikes. From a business perspective, this place was a mess. Tried to make reservations to bring my Mom here for her birthday. I began calling and leaving voicemails a week in advance but calls were not answered or returned. So I checked their hours on their website and made sure I was calling during the listed hours. It wasn’t until I went to their Facebook page that I discovered they had “limited January hours”, which was not listed on the website. Finally got a hold of someone and confirmed their Saturday hours (opening at 2pm) and made a reservations.We showed up for our 3pm reservation and the place was locked. Lights on- doors locked, no one answering the phones. Like, WHAT?!Finally, the doors open at 3pm and we get seated. The place looked really nice so I was hopeful the experience might get better. We were are handed menus - which were in these really heavy menu holders. But several of the holders had no menu pages in them. Additionally, we quickly realized that the online menu was more extensive than the menu we were handed. We were not the only table to question this and the staff told us that the smaller menu was the “winter menu” and the IT dept didn’t update the online menu. (….heavy sigh)Our wait for food was long.The food was good and portions were large.But then the bill came…. and I quickly noticed that we were upcharged on not one but THREE of our entrees. Thankfully, our waitress was able to correct it but had I not looked closer at the bill I would have paid $14 more that what the menu stated.Needless to say, this was our first and last trip to Niko’s.

I was just recently here and kind of disappointed. The food and atmosphere was much better when this was a super club. I had the meatloaf and it was not like it was a couple years ago. It tasted as if it was pre-made from Costco and served with a whole head of broccoli that I had to saw into smaller pieces. Very bad food representation and not what an upscale restaurant should be. otherwise for the price you do get your money's worth just not the taste or quality. Seems like the bar food style of the other location in down town Marengo transferred to this location as that place once had good food as well awhile back.

The place is pretty and has nice decor but that’s about all it has. Waited well over an hour for food. Then when we got it everything tasted very bland. Super high pricing for very mediocre food. Drinks by the bar were made well however. But definitely won’t be back after lack of good service and poorly tasting food.
