Captain Hooks Fish & Chicken

I ordered 10 piece wings fried very soft and they couldn't get that right. The wings were so small they reminded me of pigeon wings. I'm dissatisfied with my experience there. Not the 1st time! 3 out 5 times I've been eating pigeon sized wings that were over cooked for me. Plus the price has increased. Get the service right before increasing the cost.

I ordered a 20 piece leg and thighs with a pan of fries and it was horrible. The chicken was old and recooked. They had at least 3 batches of chicken already cooked before I ordered and they reheated the chicken and cooked fresh fries. It wasn’t seasoned at all and most of the chicken couldn’t even be eaten because it was old. I didn’t worry about taking it back because I only paid $30 for the meal but still. If you paid your money you would expect to get fresh edible food. Definitely won’t be back. Even the mild sauce was horrible ??

I had a bad experience here & it was my first time… I would like a full refund for my tasteless fish it was horrible no flavor at all, And the fish didn’t smell good, the fish wasn’t fresh at all! I asked for Extra lemon pepper and on the other side of the fish was plain no EXTRA Lemon pepper at all!I was not satisfied at all. ; (

I guess you get what you pay for. Prices are cheap but the food is disgusting . The sides taste like cheese water, I didn't even try the mash potato's because they looked horrible. Chicken was flavorless and tasted like it was cooked in old grease. I seen many good reviews and I'm really just confused.. maybe I caught them on a bad day but I won't be trying them again to find out. I just know I'm going to be sick

Chicken was very dried up/ hard. It tasted like they recooked the chicken in old grease. Horrible food I will not return

Myself and two other's went to this restaurant on Friday 4th of Nov. the lady at the front desk was verypleasant. We all ordered chicken, the chicken was fried way too hard to the point of me chewing and spitting it out because it was too hard to swallow No more of there chicken for me...

Ordered fish and chicken dinners both had no seasoning even asked if I wanted lemon pepper. Was dry

I ordered catfish nuggets and I like them fried crispy and it was not, they were a little to soft for me. I guess it my fault for not telling them.

I visited this restaurant on recommendation from the front desk at a hotel I am staying. A little about the restaurant. The store allows for people to place online orders as well as orders at the counter. Some people walk into the store and grab the orders they placed previously to walking to the store.I arrived at the restaurant at 4:45 pm on 09 October 2022. When I arrived, there was Hispanic man, myself, and an elderly African American woman who were waiting to place our orders. There were 2 African American men who were working in the kitchen. After we all placed our orders, we went to sit down and wait for the completion of our orders. We were expecting to wait 25 minutes as per the sign at the register.5 minutes into waiting, 2 young women came into the store and placed their orders. I decided to go wait in the car for the completion of my order. 20 minutes later, the Hispanic man in front of me walked out the store with his order. I decided to re-enter the store as my order completion should have been next . I went back inside the restaurant and sat back down. 10 minutes go by. The men completed the orders of the 2 women who came behind the elderly African American woman and myself. We both continued to wait. Soon after the 2 women left and 2 more men walked into the store and placed there orders at the counter. They did not have online orders as one of the men who worked in the kitchen asked them.10 minutes go by. The men in the kitchen completes the order of 1 of the men. 5 minutes later, they complete the order of the other man. At this point I was frustrated. I looked at the elderly African American woman and could tell she was not happy as well. Another 10 minutes go by and the elderly African American woman was FINALLY called. 5 minutes later I was called for my food.When I told one of the men I didn't want a plastic bag, he threw an attitude with me. It took over an hour to get the food I ordered. I went back to my hotel and told the staff what happened. They were surprised and decided not to recommend this restaurant to their guest again.I am only a visitor here and will most likely never have returned back to this town, but given the blatant disrespect these two workers showed the elderly African American woman, I would strongly recommend against any patronage of this restaurant.מלכיצדק
