She is quite an amazing woman and entrepreneur. The Traveling Mug is an adorable cafe with a wide selection of coffees, teas and much more. It even has a drive thru!”

“We came for Candy Cane on Main and decided to have Mexican food Saturday night and what a excellent choice we made. Service was outstanding and the 3 meals we ordered all were EXCELLENT!!!! and I beleive Casey Illinois will have to add another big item to see is the Fajita I ordered. It was the best Mexican food we have ever had. We will be back again next year for the candy cane and definitely your restaurant. Thanks”

“I’ve liked this place from the beginning and it’s still decent, but they need to get the whole order out in a timely manner. Just ordered for 4 people and 3 out of 4 got and finished their pretzel before the 4th ever got done and received to eat. Never had this problem before with the old owners.”

“I have known Steve Brown the owner of Brownies for almost 5 decades. Steve is a stand up guy, a Man of Character and Integrity. I do not frequent bars much in the past 20 years or so but occasionally I will maybe 5 or 6 times per year. Whenever I stumble into Brownies Place, the atmosphere is always friendly courteous and pleasant. Always very clean and accommodating. The local crowd are mostly all friends of mine and always have a smile on their face for me as well as any newcomers or visitors from out of town. I give it a sincere 5 star rating and highly suggest anyone wanting a nice meal, a drink or a game of slots or pool to stop in and visit! The bartenders are prompt and knowledgeable. As well as a helluva good cook ! Don't pass through our small beautiful hometown without visiting Brownies Place. You will not be disappointed!”

When we went to pick it up I offered the young lady money for finding & keeping it for me but she refused!! I hope this gets back to the owners of the DQ, the employee that found it , & her parents. “I was at this location on the morning of December 3rd, 2022. Maybe it was because I spent a rainy,windy,cold night in a broke down pickup waiting on a tow. But I found the restrooms clean, breakfast food was fast and good. The employees were friendly for being first thing in the morning and didn't mind me waiting for 2 hours for my tow to arrive.”
