My son and I love, love, love this place ... I have damn near had everything one this menu except lamb chops but my son had them ... amazing ... like everything is amazing and I'm very funny with food ... the owners are very nice ... like super nice ... the food and I mean you can't go wrong with nothing on the menu and they got Kool Aid ? ... great portion sizes for the money ... golden gem ? I promise
I got the catfish dinner w greens n cajun rice, it was delicious. My daughter got the 4 wing dinner w mac n cheese n fries. Also a hit. Lets not talk about the jerk alfredo. Good n spicy.We cam after church, we ate then passed out. Will def be back. I need a good soul food place in my life!!! The only thing I didn't care for was all the foot traffic. The cajun rice had giardiniera which is different but overall decent food
I live close to this place, I saw it on the Black Foodies, I was like wow a new restaurant. Last week I decided to check it out, I walked in place my order for chicken wings, mac & cheese and greens, it was a 15-20min wait. The wings were good but very small, mac & cheese was decent and the green had the vinegar and sweet taste which was fine, they didn't have the sweet potatoes cornbread that was disappointing. What I really didn't like while sitting there...
