The service was attentive & our waitress was really sweet & nice but it took a long time to get our food. There were 4 adults & 3 kids. My wife got the sweet potato fries which were kinda burnt & well done. Several of us got the asparagus. We got 3-4 spears. I think they need to improve the portion size on that. The Alamo Steakhouse & Saloon is a spectacular Steakhouse that has excellent Steak (Sirloin), Shrimp, Ceasar salad, and rice, which is a superb dinner with an excellent brewery, mixed drinks, and wine options. I attended The Alamo Steakhouse during the IHSA Track Meet weekend, which all the IHSA Track officials highly recommended and lived up to the standard they spoke about!
If you come here and don’t plan on ordering bang bang shrimp don’t bother coming through the front door, in my 17 years of life I’ve never had anything nearly as good as the alamos bang bang shrimp. I have not even received my main corse yet but I can attest that this establishment is one of if not the greatest restaurant I have ever eaten at.
