I have eaten periodically at this Dennys since it opened. In the beginning it was always packed. We stopped going due to unfriendly servers and lukewarm food. We had nachos at another Dennys and they were excellent. I ordered them at the Mattoon location and again, they were excellent. Today, I ordered them again. The nacho chips were drenched in grease. The chips bent in half because of the grease! We had 3 people taking care of us, one who took drink orders and left menus, another to take order, and yet another to deliver the meal. When we went to pay, I mentioned to the employee that I was disappointed in the quality of my meal. She was adamant in telling me no less than 3 times, that she herself had prepared the nacho chips and drained them for 3 minutes. When I mentioned contacting the manager, she said, "I AM the manager." I asked if she was the owner and she got really snotty with me. It is doubtful that we will return to the Mattoon, Illinois location.

I've been calling for the last 5 minutes. They've answered twice not said anything. I kept saying hello and they've hung up every single time but four times they just didn't answer the phone at all

Didn't even get to eat waited over an hour for 1 drink my wife still was waiting on hers we just decided to leave worse service we have received

Went there for breakfast today and had the most amazing food. The service was fast and friendly. Everyone seemed to really e joy working there. The music wasn’t playing to loud so my mom and I could still hear each other and have a nice conversation. The food was hot, and delicious.
Wheelchair accessibility: I’m a full time wheelchair user. Many times people will just seat me without asking. Today I was pleasantly surprised when she asked if I wanted a full table or a half table half booth. This Dennys is amazing
On my way South stopped here for a quick bite, wonderful service, delicious food!!

I did an online order then called to add to it When picking up order the customer service was not good. When entering the door there was no greeting... I stood there as the employee continued to talk to other staff...as if I was not there... I asked for extra condiments and they was not given to me replied by saying I put some in your bag.... when I say the customer service was horrible it really was... over all the only thing I enjoyed out of the whole meal was the French toast.... probably won't go to that location again. ....
