Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

The brisket burger i got was just meh. Not very good beef flavor. Fries were a little disappointing. Took a while to get our food, and they were playing teenage new wave hip-hop, which destroyed the atmosphere of the decor.
You'd have a better everything at Steak and Shake.

Worst service in America. I waited in the drive thru lane for 1 hr and 20 minutes. Just completely unbelievable. Some people need to be fired here!

Couldn’t even try the food. We arrived at opening time and went through drive through first, upon slow rolling the window after waiting at the mircrophone the guy inside gave us a thumbs up. So we went back around and waited again before deciding to go in, going in we waited for a bit before I found a worker and asked if we could place our order, the woman looked at me and walked away. Terrible customer service.

We moved from Wisconsin 1.5 years ago . Tried Freddy and loved it. But here lately noticed not the cleanest place to go. Before there was a lady manager there but she must have moved on. We will not be back until we start hearing from other people that it's back to being a clean restaurant. Food is only 30 percent of success these days with all the viruses, cleaning is the rest.

Good food, kind of like the steak burger place. The fry portions were huge! The cashier got our order wrong and we were charged for things we didn't even order.

I’m confused by the restaurants hours. They supposedly close at 10p on Sunday. We walked in at 940 to order some desert for our family. We asked for a chocolate milkshake and we were told that the custard had been “out for 30 minutes but we could get a milkshake if we wanted… it would be kind of melted.” We walked out and didn’t buy anything and… we wont be back. If you’re open until 10 why shut down the custard machine 45 min before closing?! Do your paying customers a favor and serve your full menu until you close. Pun intended. ✌🏼

I do not understand why establishment think customers want loud music. We do not want music or tv's when we eat.

It would be nice to be able to eat in peace without any music.

Requested chicken tenders to be extra crispy, they were cooked normal and luke warm, not hot.

Employees were yelling at each other. Not sure we will ever go back.

This restaurant has gone down hill in the last 6 months. Dirty, tables need cleaned, out of sweet tea both in the restaurant and the drive thru, food all over the floor. Used to be a nice place to come, not so much any more.

I saw a worker sweeping the floor and just left all the crumbs on the floor he didn't even bother going to go grab the dust pan and I worked here 2 months ago and we never left stuff on the floor after we sweeped the floor and they say they are the cleanest fast food place in mattoon I think other wise and my friend said the food was dry and not worth coming to Freddy's and his shake was horrible to.
