Had a memorial for my mother who recently passed away. She worked for Pats Lounge for many years. The owners were very accommodating and we can't thank them enough!! The outside patio was a very nice place to have our food that was catered in and the perfect place for the band to play! Thank you all again! Our family greatly appreciated this!!

People are trying to sleep ACROSS TOWN and can hear you at 1am. What an absolute nuisance in Mattoon. Turn your music DOWN. PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP. I would give 0 stars but I can’t

I came here for the OTown concert on the outdoor stage and had a great time. The outside space is great for events and inside has plenty of seating and a large bar for everything else. The bartenders were pleasant, efficient, and worked with me to mix up a drink I enjoy. I had a good time here.

I came here for the O-Town show and purchased the VIP ticket. I could see everything just fine until someone with this establishment depicted to let everyone in. One-Those tickets were more than GA and it’s not right to charge some people more if you’re just turning it into a free for all. Two-Staff was incredibly rude when we inquired as to why this was happening. It appears you aren’t used to actually hosting events like this and just know, it’s completely h ethical to charge for an upgraded experience and not deliver. You owe every single one of us with the VIP ticket a full refund.

This was a great find in Mattoon's Downtown district. The bar has a ton of character, friendly staff and has been around for a long time. Exactly what you want when looking for a dive, will definitely be going back soon.

This place was great. I went to see my favorite band, Van Waylon Band, in their beer garden. They have a great stage and a huge area for seating. I couldn't have asked for nicer weather, and the band was great as usual. They really brought the party to the House Brothers Tavern. The actual bar is pretty small, and they were pretty busy considering the great band they had performing. It was Van Waylon's first time there, and as always, they did not disappoint the crowd. Also, there was no cover charge for the band. A big plus for me. I heard they are going to be back in the fall, and I will be try to be back too. I recommend this place for the coziness of the bar and the very nice beer garden area and awesome stage. So if you want to listen to some music and have a few cold ones, give this place a try. I'm glad I did.

Customer at the bar demands my ID. I ask is he bartender, "No", ok so the bartender can ask me. She finally does and proceeds to accuse my ID to be fake and let all the customers in the bar threaten me and curse me.out on my way out the door. Tried contacting the bisnuess on Facebook and calling the number posted on Google and can not get a response so here I am, telling you how disrespectful of a place this is. Have a nice day folks
