We stopped in for lunch while working in Mattoon last week. We ended up eating there 3 out of 5 days. It's was one of the best burgers I've had from a fast food type restaurant. We had a group of 3 and managed to order both 1/4lb burger combos and the 1/2lb burger combos including the ones with bacon. The portions were more than expected and it was difficult to finish the burgers and large volume of fresh made fries. The fries are medium sized and remind me of what McD's fries used to be before they became the soggy mess they are now. If you're looking for a great, thick, and juicy burger with a lot of fries this is your place. 100% recommend and will return for sure. We ate outside the first day and then in the truck the 2nd and 3rd. We talked with another couple who were having the fish sandwich and a huge salad and they were also please with their meals and the great value for the money.

Got shorted a 2/$10 on my order. My fault, I asked, but I didn't double check. I was in a hurry. Never had an issue before. Food was as expected, pretty darn good! Fries are some of the best you can get, and always a generous portion. The burgers were dressed accurately and delicious. Of course, the meal I did not receive would have also been delicious. Anywho. Gotta double check!

Spent $20 only to get home and find they had given the wrong order. 2ond time it's happened. I was in drive up and unable to take the time to unwrap to make sure they had gotten it right.

This was a first visit and I couldn't of been more pleasantly surprised... the menu reminded me of fair food for some reason lol but there was loads of options at very affordable prices.. we order the Nashville hot and Hawaiian sammich and let me tell u what.. some of the best sammiches ever tasted lol service was fast and fresh and friendly... I would highly suggest checking this place out and especially trying the Hawaiian sammich!

We love McHugh's. It isn't expensive and tastes good! Service is usually very quick. We especially like their milkshakes, especially the fun flavor of the month, which is usually less traditional than the normal chocolate or vanilla. Orders are typically accurate as well.
