It's not my favorite pizza and the prices are a little higher than I prefer but it's still pretty decent. Most recently tried the 10'' BBQ Chicken pan pizza along with bread sticks and a mozzarella stick. Tasty meal. The service has always been good.

Overall pleasant place to eat Italian cuisine. Piping hot food, host was nice and got us setup rather quickly. Waitress had timely response to us and our needs. Nice place to chill and grab some grub.
I never never been served a pizza in a paper bag before…. Pizza wasn’t don’t in the middle and was burnt on the outside.

Food was good but their service was terrible. The server told my mom that he’ll “get to her when he gets to her” and we ended up getting a lot of stuff ourselves because he was hardly there. Also made everyone say their order twice? Wasn’t even busy either. Had our group of 10 and then 2 more groups of 2-3 people. Shouldn’t be that hard.
I have debated on sharing this but 3rd time is not Charmed. I order takeout for my father who is in assisted living and take to him. He likes single pizza with mushrooms and Xtra sausage. The lady took my order via phone. Went to pick up and got to Dads and NO mushrooms and TWO sausages per slice. Really?!?!? Third time this has happened for takeout. Service is good when we EAT IN but what’s up with takeout!!! Oh yes, breadsticks were dry. WHY WHY is it a different experience eating in vs takeout. Hate to post this because Monicals is a Mattoon favorite!!! It’s on my short list now.

I was told that I could not eat a Monicals pizza... IN MONICALS! I ordered online so I could not eat in. I don't have to ever go back either. So long monicals.

First time eating here. Such a treat to happen upon this wonderful establishment!! Our server, DAWN, is a jewel! As 1st timers she recommended the Family Pleaser Special meal for 2. Your choice of pizza and toppings, 2 drinks, 2 salads. AND the French salad dressing is home-made. Superb flavor. We even used it as dip for our pizza. We will be back next time we're traveling in the Mattoon area! Thank you Dawn for wonderful service and delicious meal.

This place was fantastic and was the best trip I've ever experienced here! They were on the ball! We had drinks and breadsticks within 15 mins of ordering!! ❤️ The pizza was great as well!! ?
