Someone that was mad and heart broken made the green sauce. Sheeshhh ,sauce was hella spicy & no taste, you can’t even enjoy the food. Should have mild and spicy for those who don’t eat too spicy. 👎🏼

I liked the place, the service and above all that I found a beef broth mid-week, generally in other places they only do it on the weekend, very good food, handmade tortillas, tasty spicy sauces. The red cheese enchiladas are very good.

Went with my sister and friend and we shared a Burrito Deshebrada w/salsa verde, a quesadilla de Asada, nachos de Asada and a Menudo, everything was delish! Decent prices and their agua de horchata and jaimaica were pretty good. The place tends to get pretty busy, so you might end up having to find parking on the street, but you'll definitely enjoy some good food.
What delicious gorditas and drinks. I recommend them for a good dinner or lunch. Come to the fatties.

The food here is incredible. My favorite dish is their Durango burgers and fresh fries!!, but the torta cubana and burritos made with homemade tortillas are also very delicious. The red salsa is the perfect amount of spicy. Top it off with a Mexican Coca Cola. I have never had a bad experience here and the food is always delicious. I can’t recommend it enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Mistery meat? I came to try the famous Durango style burgers. The “meat” was mixed in with flour and cumin to mask the fact that there was hardly any meat in the burger. They sell you a piece of ham and a piece of bacon with extra condiments and no actual meat. The aguas frescas are powder mix, not real fruit. Gorditas were ok, service was ok. 2/10 would not recommend.

My son really likes the pressed chicharron gorditas but the last time I bought him he was very happy until he started eating and it turns out that it had chili and tomato (he doesn't eat chili) Why did they make that change? It's fine if there are people who want them like that, but why not put each gordita (if they ask for it that way) or make all the pots, one original (plain) and the other with chili and tomato, what a disappointment to see the face of my son who was left wanting to eat their fatties Update ?? now it turns out that the pressed pork rind fatties are not pork rinds but carnitas!! If I wanted carnitas I would order carnitas tacos at another restaurant, I went there for the pressed chicharron gorditas but well I won't go there anymore

Do the pressed chicharron girditas come with another stew? I ordered takeout tomorrow morning and right now I ate one and I almost broke a tooth with an egg. I'm saying if they are pork rinds why do they come out with bones? 1 quite big and 2 small Update: so that's not pressed chicharron!!! Put girditas de carnitas on the menu and not like they have "pressed pork rinds" right now ?♂️ or you don't know what the difference is?????

I have been going to El Durangito all my life as a Maywood resident and it was very disappointing to spend over $140 on burritos that were mostly filled with rice. My sister and entire family have supported this business for as long as it’s been open. The food was decent but man, being stingey with meat after paying $16 and added service charge is insane. We also got a torta and same thing, a bunch of crema but not enough meat. It’s very disappointing because El Durangito was always my childhood spot. Being from Durango , I want to share my culture/food with others but I cannot justify the price for the meal I had yesterday with my family. I hope El Durangito can do better, I understand inflation affects us all but I don’t want a burrito filled with rice, I rather stay home and make it myself.

I ordered the Chilaquiles Carne Asada plate I was charged $27 when most places in the area only charge 12.99 for this plate. I Don’t mind paying for good food. Price is not an issue but quality of food and the quality of service is upon getting home and tasting the food. It was horrible. My steak was overcooked and the Chilaquiles bland with no flavor at all after two bites I immediately went back to tell them and requested a full refund. They denied my refund and told me that I had ate the food and they will not be giving me a refund. I was shocked at the low quality of service! No only that the manager proceeded to try and coach me and say “you should think next time before you eat at a Mexican restaurant if you are going to like what you order!” Wow! Not only was the food trash but the service too? Good luck you lost a customer! Oh and by the way I’m Mexican to.. PEOPLE PLEASE DONT GO HERE THIS PLACE IS NOT ONLY PRICE GOUGING THEY DONT KNOW GOOD SERVICE OR GOOD FOOD!
