Ok so first things first this was my first visit..... the Owner is awesome!! The employee that made my samich was awesome as well ! Now for the food... the samich was darn good and filling the pasta salad and tater salad was homemade and you can tell! Reminds me of a typical neighborhood deli in Chicago. The meatballs are a MUST! and are homemade. I suggest everyone swing by and try the great food and if yur new ya get to spin the wheel o stuff for a treat or discount on yur next visit! I will be back for sure! ? I ate the samich too fast so I took a picture of the togo box so if you wanna see the samich get in there and grab s few ?
Had combo corned beef and pastrami. Excellent. Liked the brand of potato chips. Staff is great, friendly .

Normally solid. But where's the condiments? Where's the coleslaw? Why are restaurants consistently dropping the ball on their delivery orders? The sub, after I put my condiments on, was good but with this kind of uneven service, they're bound to go the way of most sandwich shops in McHenry.

The owners and staff are excellent. The sandwiches( the Colonel and meatball sub) were outstanding. I hate to mention the price however in this economy, it is a little on the high side but for those few extra bucks, it's worth it to support a great local business. Plus, you'll have a superior meal!!

The pastrami and beef sandwich is AMAZING. I was upset that my husband and I decided to split it because I wanted the entire sub! Really great Italian sandwich too and their bread is so fresh. I will be visiting again very soon.
Stopped in Today for lunch, I eat there occasionally as the food is fantastic. First, when you walk in very very friendly staff, knowledgeable you cannot beat the quantity & quality of food for the price! Soups and chili are homemade yum yum! I would highly recommend if you haven’t been to Don’s subs, you must try it out.
