This is a great little find in McHenry. The food was excellent and our server Maria was very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a wide variety of authentic dishes on the menu to choose from. I ordered the enchiladas with verde sauce while my friend had the enchiladas with mole sauce. We will be back to enjoy again!
5 stars for The Patroons Mexican Restaurant! From a distance, it looks like just some random hole in the wall restaurant in some mall shopping center. But once inside, you will realize the hidden gem of Mexican cuisine you found while visiting McHenry. The prices are all very reasonable, and the service was very friendly when I dined in. Usually order for delivery. Food is fantastic. For delivery, the orders are packed really well by wrapping the containers in plastic wrap to avoid spills. Never had a disappointing experience over the last year or so of ordering from The Patroons.
