“I haven't been to a KFC since the one in Crystal Lake closed, but today I had a hankerin' and stopped by the McHenry one for the first time on my home from work. Place was clean and staff was courteous and friendly. Really a nice experience.“

“so ordered combination teriyaki and garlic parmesan wings and an order of macaroni and cheese, the teriyaki wings were fairly saucy and reasonably tasty move on to the garlic parmesan wings which had zero sauce however they did have Parmesan on them. according to the manager they didn't have any sauce on it so they parmesan them up. now let's move on to the macaroni and cheese I've had macaroni and cheese out of the box from Aldi that had thicker cheese sauce. so I questioned the manager about this his exacting answer to me was we buy our ingredients for that at Walmart. so you buy your ingredients from Walmart when you're a restaurant so that's not actually acceptable and the lake county health department standards for a restaurant. you could literally pour the cheese sauce out of the cup so I question the manager on both of these and he's the one that told me this and didn't seem to give any care about our dinner... so I'm just leaving this up for everybody else they don't seem to care. didn't offer to make anything right and well they will never get our money again. if you want some macaroni and cheese Heck just go to Walmart and buy some you might get the better quality than they make.“

“Best chicken in Crystal Lake! Raising Cane's slaps the hardest. Their chicken tenders are goated and perfectly seasoned (and honestly, you don't even need the sauce). The fries are cooked to perfection and have an amazing crunch👌 and that Texas toast slaps! Skip the KFC, skip the Popeyes, skip Dave's Hot Chicken because Cane's is where it's at!
