A waste of money! Aug 9, 2025, ordered wings and a deep dish Chicago style pizza. The wings were overdone on the outside and pink on the inside, all three orders. The pizza was the worst I've had in the burbs. It was not deep dish or Chicago style as advertised and what I ordered. It was a pan pizza style with the ingredients under the sauce. Don't expect Jeno's, Giordanos, or Connie's. Think more like Pizza Hut. The mushrooms were from a can and it was noticeable and overall, it just tasted off. Generous with the cheese though. I'm hoping it was the cook and kitchen manager's night off. Too bad I'll never know, gonna skip this place from now on.

The owner stood in front of me talking to a buddy as I sat for 20mins not eating my food and never asked why. I never got anything till I finished my drink then my food was cold. They used to be good but staff just kept walking past as I made eye contact with all of them

Ordered a ribeye steak sandwich. The menu clearly states that it comes with green peppers and mushrooms and cheese. When asked what type of fries? I was not told there would be an upcharge to choose waffle fries versus regular fries. My eighteen dollar sandwich, it was twenty six dollars when I got my bill. Waiter tried to explain that there was an upcharge for the fries. He thought $2 and I said that doesn't explain the difference in price, then so a manager comes out and says, the difference in French fries is $3 plus I was up charged for the peppers and mushrooms ???? Menu says the sandwich comes with it??? My friends wanted the salad. The salad says it comes with grilled chicken.Then it also says, add grilled chicken for 4 dollars ??? Both friends ordered the salad one.Got a big breadstick, the other did not. Price gouging, they really need to get it together, but that's okay, I will not be back. The food was fair not worth the price.

I'm telling you, the cheese curds are out of this world. We get them with ranch and I can't say enough good things. Best cheese curds ever. Burgers are also very good. Not a huge fan of the pretzels. Usually really quiet and no problem getting a seat when we come.

We ordered pizza from Jexals in McHenry at 7:30 this evening. They said it would be here by 9pm. At 9:40 i called for a status of our pizza. They said they driver left in on the door step at 8:30. Who leaves food on the door step. We were home. 2 have 2 dogs that go ballistic when someone comes near the door let alone rings the bell. Nobody rang the bell
Jexal says they will comp the food that wa left on the door step but charge us for a new pizza. Which means they are not coming anything.
This is the last time we will go near that place. Who leave food at a door step.

BRING BACK YOUR BREADED WINGS!! I have seen 100s of people request this for years, yet no action taken. This used to be the best wing spot around by far until you got rid of the breaded option. Now, you fall into the same category as every other wing spot. Do what sets you apart. I haven't been back in so long since you got rid of them.

Came here many times for the juicy burgers. The restaurant is now only serving smash burgers, which I find dry and tasteless. I can go to Culver's for the same and pay less. Where is a good place to get a thick juicy burger in McHenry?

Ordered prime rib sandwich, rare. The piece of meat, not sure what you would call it, but definitely was not prime rib and wax cooked medium. The bartender returned the sandwich to the kitchen for a new sandwich This time it was crooked rare, but again this was not a ribeye steak. When I mentioned this to the bartender, he indicated that other people have complained as well, that it is not a ribeye. Totally mislead and misrepresentation of what was being served. I opted for the macaroni salad instead of fries. The macaroni was hard, lacked flavor so I just didn't eat it.This is probably the 6th time that we have tried Jexels, and we agree the food is not great, mediocre at best. The bartender was attentive and friendly, so A + for the service.
