Always a family favorite, especially when I have my grandkids. Whether they can sit at the bar to have their meal served by the train, or just watch it from a table, they absolutely love it and it's an experience we can't get anywhere else. Food is always good and service always excellent. I like that the new(er) owners made a few changes to keep the charm but get rid of a little clutter.

Great food. Great atmosphere. They do a great job with decor and next time I’m going to sit at the bar so my drinks and food will arrive by a train

Covered in a lot of america stuff but in a very sweet grandmas house style. The blueberry lemon curd pancakes were amazing!

Great small town cafe for breakfast or lunch. Food was great and the service was awesome. We took a large group and they were very accommodating.

Very lovely breakfast spot, enjoyed my food there both times, but Saturday morning was pretty busy!

We'd been going to Windhill for years and always loved it – the food was fantastic, and the service was great. But we hadn't been back in six years, and things have definitely changed. We were so excited to go back, but it was a huge letdown. The food was terrible, and the service was incredibly slow. We ended up leaving most of our food – such a waste of money. It's so disappointing when a place you used to love goes downhill like that.

Cute place! Be sure to make reservations in advance to sit by the bar with the train. Food was good but no grits! :)

Never had a bad meal. Sometimes, service is slow on a Sunday morning, but that's generally expected. Always fun decor, they bring food out on a train in the back for kids.

This is a gem of a place. Converted Victorian home makes you feel like you're coming home for a meal. The restaurant was all decked out in decorations for the 4th of July (this was on June 21st). Family friendly, lively environment. The food was flavorful and was definitely prepared with love. There is a wonderful variety of dishes to choose from. The service was friendly, courteous, and prompt. I will return in the near future.

I was so excited when I saw the food, I neglected to take pictures! I will add next time. For the record, their Irish Benedict and hash brown casserole resulted in a party of flavors. The coffee was also just what I needed, perfection!

Food is not bad. Service is kinda slow, but not a big deal. Table is roomy so I liked it.
