This place is phenomenal. Authentic. Delicious. I could go on for hours. The lady was sweet as could be. Limited English so be polite when you come here. But you must come here. Crepes were outstanding. Breakfast burritos were out of this world. One of the best places we've ever eaten and the place was extremely clean as well.

Most pleasant ladies taking care of you like if your were visiting them at home. Very authentic and made to order so please be patient it's worth it!! All drinks made from scratch! Quesabirrias, Gorditas, steak tacos, tortas, breakfast dishes♥️

They need a cook!!! The food was horrible. Soggy hasbrowns. The omelette wasn't an omelette. Steak was kind of shewy. Service was excellent. Very sweet and friendly server. But the cook doesn't know how to cook. They need to hire a cook ASAP. I wasn't charged for the breakfast, but wanted to pay for it. I chose the place, but it was the worst. Really bad experience.

When my favorite Latin restaurant in Melrose Park closed its doors permanently I had to find another restaurant in Melrose Park that is just as good if not better. I don't live in Melrose Park, but I make the drive to Cafe Sol for several reasons. The food is fresh, flavorful, seasoned to perfection and very good. The price point is excellent and the service is fairly decent. Staff are hospitable and friendly. Parking is EZ and free.

food and service is absolutely amazing, very friendly and amazing service, will 100% be coming back, anybody who hasn’t tried is missing out!!

After reading the reviews and this being a family owned place I was really excited to try the food! I ordered a steak taco and 2 pastor tacos, unfortunately they were not great. The meat tasted like it needed to be cooked a bit longer. the fries were a bit soggy.

Great food for a great price, but what makes it something special is the atmosphere. The space breathes of peace and tranquility. The music and the colors all pull the room together along with the decorations and trinkets on the counters and walls. Truly a relaxing experience to have a meal here. Will definitely recommend to anyone seeking a place to get good food at a great price

Senora was so sweet. They were out of horchata so they substituted my order with Guava. Chorizo burrito and quesadilla was a perfect mix with iced Mexican Coca Cola!
