Wish I didn't have to leave a bad review but the customer service here was terrible, I had a issue with a side for my carnitas, I ordered vegetables on the side and got mole instead, when I went to the counter to express my problem the lady was very rude and told me that because I already got the mole she couldn't do anything for me lol, it was kinda hilarious listening to her explanation, I just wanted my vegetables not the mole, so instead of fixing the mistake I was told to shut it and leave, just to make things worse when I got home I realized I didn't even have the carnitas I ordered, got barbacoa instead, this was my first time there and was very disappointing

I would not recommend this place to my friends and if you go, check your order before you leave, possibly in front of that lady just in case, theres better places around Chicago anyway.

I ordered carnitas with ribs and they gave me pure bones without any meat.. every bite I got was pure bones, poor quality for they are so expensive they are no longer good.. from 7 dls a pound that they were before now at 15 don't stain them I don't recommend them anymore .. 🤨👎 … they charged me only the bones 5 pounds I paid 85 dls no mmmen 😤

With all due respect, the unfriendly cashier didn't let us talk to place the order, no bathrooms or to wash your hands, super bad experience, first and last time we go to that place.

I was so looking forward to this place as it was highly recommended. I don’t know if it was the cashier having a bad day but her complete attitude gave a bad taste period once I received my order .
I drove 45 minutes specifically for carnitas and nopales just to hear they had no nopales didn’t fulfill the crave I had and left me to think I was better off going to the original place I was heading to before recommended here. I will rate overall rice and beans were good along with their homemade tortillas. Unless I was at the wrong Alfredos because that too was very confusing given that there is two Alfredos on site .

Seen these place on tik tok periodically. So me & My Hommiie & her daughter tried this Restaurant. Best Carnita tacos I had in a long time.We got 2lbs of Dark meat only with a lil bit of skin 🔥🔥Tamales & Champurado🔥🔥. We didn't get a chance to try the Tamales cause we where full on the tacos😋😋Next visit I'm trying the Tacos & Menudo & Pozole 👍

Parking: One of the best tacos I have ever eaten and good service, the tortilla was super good with the salsa and the meat was super another level.

Overall, Carnitas are good , the atmosphere is chill, I think they can work a little bit more on their service , love the red Sauce , great flavor , my fav.
