This place may be quieter than its competitors, pero si saben cocinar! Absolutely love their menudo, probably my favorite in the area. Has so much carnita and always includes everything. Last time I tried it from one of their more popular competitors and it taste sour and like it had ketchup or something. This has so much flavor and you taste all the spices and chiles, without it being overly spicy. If you haven't already, I suggest trying this family's menudo. It's perfect for randomly cold 🥶 illinois weather

I've had there steak torta which is OK. I've had the caldo de Pollo which was great. I've tried there chilaquiles and there flauta dinner both are horrible the taste of there food is like if they do not change the oil for various days. , there beans have a nasty taste and there Yellow rice taste was horrible as well. There service not the greatest.

This used to be one of my favourites places to eat but recently the food is not what used to be before I ordered a Gordita de pastor the tortilla was so dry you couldn’t even eat it the tacos al pastor has more grilled red onions than meat is just no good at all
Las week I was there and ordered chilaquiles verdes and told the server bring me dos huevos sauces I couldn’t tell her over easy cause she wouldn’t know what’s over easy she brought me 2 burned eggs instead asked her to change them a nd never came back with my eggs. I asked the cook to make me 2 more eggs and he did but server never came back to my table Not coming back at all to this rodolfos taconazo location on lake street

The pastor tacos had a bad smell to them honestly pretty bad smell, I ate them cause I was hungry the salsa had zero salt. Lots of potential there but not being run well.

We visited this place for a quick bite after church. I was in the mood for pozole, but unfortunately the caldo was very strongly flavored with what tasted like tomato sauce. The pork in the pozole was extremely fatty and it just wasn't appetizing. I rated the service a 5 because the waitress was EXTREMELY accommodating and wonderful. She quickly took the bowl away and within 5 minutes brought me 3 of the most amazing steak tacos ever!The best part was that they didn't even charge us for the soup. I'd definitely go back here to try other menu items just because they were so accommodating.
