Gem of a mariscos place ✨ My husband and I ordered takeout through DoorDash but decided to order some micheladas when we went inside. Everyone was super friendly since we walked in. When we sat down they gave us some cauliflower ceviche with a salsa macha on the side. It was SO good! Then we ordered one regular miche and one mango flavored. Again 10/10. The service was excellent. Super attentive and friendly. Our initial takeout was the breaded sushi and shrimp ceviche. Both were delicious! I’m so happy we ordered from here. We will definitely be going back to try more things💗

I found this amazing spot while visiting a friend in Melrose Park. The menu is fantastic for seafood lovers with a taste for some spice. The seafood soup had the perfect amount of spice as to not over power and it was packed with shrimp, calamari and other seafood. I really enjoyed the octopus tacos, I expected standard tortillas but was pleasantly surprised when they came out crispy from the grill. Now if you like some serious spice this place has it with some table hot sauce to take your dish up a level. Service was perfect and the owner greeted us and asked how our meal was. Prices were excellent fro fresh seafood.

I had lunch today at Oh-Mar Fresh Seafood and overall, it was a great experience. The service was excellent—the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was delicious and fresh, definitely lived up to the name!
However, one thing that really stood out—in a not-so-good way—was the pricing. The prices listed on the menu card didn’t match what I was actually charged. I ended up paying more for each meal than what was advertised, and there was no clear explanation for the difference. That was disappointing and a bit misleading.
If they can fix the pricing transparency, this place would be an easy 5-star spot. Until then, I’d say it’s still worth a visit for the food and service, but double-check your bill before paying.

Disgusting place. I saw at least three roaches and some rat droppings in the corner of the restaurants dinning room. This place is a health code violation. Do not eat here if you value your health

Me and my SO wanted to try a new place today and have been meaning to come here as it’s local to us. This place is truly a gem. We got the steak tacos and shrimp tacos and both were amazing. The shrimp tacos were especially some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The food was fresh, the place is bright and clean, and the staff are kind and attentive. I recommend them to anyone.

Was there today at 12pm. As soon as we got to the door someone came to lock it. We knocked on the door but no one came out.

Ok, where should I start?
I came in in doubt. I’ve been smiling and shaking my head in disbelief. It is soooo good. We tried 3 things in the menu and everything was DELICIOUS. We started with the torre de mariscos the tuna there took it out of the park! The camarones on point. Then Tacos de Arrachera, I looked at the price and was like: what??? But then I got them and was like WHAT? This tacos are very tasty, meat cooked to perfection, plenty of meat on them and the salsa they got is spectacular. Then langostinos oh-mar style, the best langostinos, perfect spiciness, garlic and onions 🤤🤤🤤. We finished our experience with a carajillo. Honestly I will recommend this place to anyone I know.

I recently visited this restaurant and wanted to share my experience. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the service was exceptional. My boyfriend ordered the carnitas torta ahogada, which we rated a 6/10, while I tried the fried sushi and found it to be a 6/10 as well. We also ordered the calamari, which was enjoyable, and the ceviche, which was good and fresh. The salsas added a nice touch to the meal. Although the main dishes didn’t fully meet our expectations, the overall experience was pleasant. I recommend checking it out for yourself!
