Food was good. Margaritas tasted like water. Waitress forgot something on our order and didn't even realize. What was worst was she did not come back a single time to check on us (she did however go to the table behind us about 5 times at least to check on them).
Will definitely not be going back.
She didn't even bring the food or check herself she sent the bartender and only came to collect payment.

Order a molcajete Cora and a botana mamalona I was a bit skeptical about the molcajete cora since I had a bad experience at another similar seafood place (Islas) but the food didn’t fail here everything was so tasteful and the service great!! There was a band playing I believe someone was celebrating a birthday a bit loud for a small place but I’ll definitely be coming back

Food was bland. Ordered 2 Molcajates and it only had 3 prawns. 2 mussels, and 3 crab legs and the rest was both with shredded imitation grab meat. For $35+ each that’s insane. Walked in and we were the only ones at the floor but the waitress took forever to take our order because she was talking with her friends and the people using the slot machine. Our plates came 15min apart from eachother. Insanely slow service from this waitress and the prices. Insane ! 2 molcajates and an order of chicken nuggets for $145 and they still wanted a 18% tip haha. Never will I step foot inside of here again. What a shame.

My girls’ lunches usually involve oysters, mariscos (or both if I’m lucky) and Las Playas Nayaritas always delivers both in the best way possible! We’ve tried a lot of mariscos spots around Chicagoland, and this one is hands down the best and most convenient for all of us. The seafood is always perfectly cooked, especially in that spicy broth I can’t get enough of. The staff is friendly, fun, and super attentive, and the house tequila? Honestly better than some of the high end stuff out there. The michelada is the icing on top… refreshing, flavorful, and just right. Pro tip: ask for Fernando’s hot sauce, then add a few dashes of it to the michelada to kick it up a notch. It’s a treat every time we visit!

I agree with some of the reviews from some of the guests, service from the waiter is terrible had to ask for water for everyone, I should have spoken with the manager that was on shift that day, they share the space with Super tacos Morelos, place wasn't even busy at all that day, before being seated just look around and choose your area where you want to be seated, first waiter that showed us our table seemed to have better service I thought she was going serve us, Iam guessing they are taking turns since it wasn't busy at all that all that day. Low rating was for the service but the food is very good, restaurant replied saying I had the wrong location that is false I made sure I wasn't making a mistake, it is two restaurants under one roof you can pick from both menu's.

This restaurant has been here for a bit and I am wishing I had come sooner. This restaurant is probably the best seafood place I’ve ever eaten at. I was blown away by the seafood boil nayerite. I also tried this seafood tostada and it was so amazing! My husband and I will definitely be going back. The one thing I think I would suggest maybe is the volume of the live music. It was a bit louder than I expected for the space and had a difficult time conversing with my husband. But overall an amazing experience and so glad this place is in our neighborhood.

The worst service ever I don’t think I’m coming back I asked for my wife steak and red snapper for my self I request the steak to be medium. They cook it well done it took more than half an hour. I asked the server to bring the red snapper and the steak together she never did. She brought that fish first and then 15 minutes later. The steak and then I asked the server a few questions which she was really mean about I work on the restaurant business and they really have the worst service I’ve ever seen in my life. I don’t recommend it at all.

Very clean place no one there during the week day so we were attended to quickly. The drinks are delicious and the service is fantastic. I the fish was nice and crunchy. The rice tasted really good l, over all I would go back, the manager is really nice and explained to what's on the menu even gave us coupons to come back. I say try it.
