Order a molcajete Cora and a botana mamalona I was a bit skeptical about the molcajete cora since I had a bad experience at another similar seafood place (Islas) but the food didn’t fail here everything was so tasteful and the service great!! There was a band playing I believe someone was celebrating a birthday a bit loud for a small place but I’ll definitely be coming back

My girls’ lunches usually involve oysters, mariscos (or both if I’m lucky) and Las Playas Nayaritas always delivers both in the best way possible! We’ve tried a lot of mariscos spots around Chicagoland, and this one is hands down the best and most convenient for all of us. This restaurant has been here for a bit and I am wishing I had come sooner. This restaurant is probably the best seafood place I’ve ever eaten at. I was blown away by the seafood boil nayerite. I also tried this seafood tostada and it was so amazing! My husband and I will definitely be going back. The one thing I think I would suggest maybe is the volume of the live music. It was a bit louder than I expected for the space and had a difficult time conversing with my husband....
