I personally recommend this restaurant, it's a small place but It has the "BEST" birria !!! Birria lovers "must" try this place..... last , they give you the best service !!!

Birria has been my childhood favorite. from my family having it religiously every other weekend to discovering it on a roadside stall in Mexico when I was young. Either way I’ve been chasing the high of having incredible birria for a while. El chivo tapatio without a doubt has shattered what is possible outside of the city and outside Mexico. The deep and rich consome bring me back to my childhood paired with the sumptuous and tender goat meat makes my mouth water just writing this. The food on its own warrants merit but the service is why I wrote this review. From the moment I walked in we were greeted by staff including the faceless chef in back and served promptly and patiently. When scarfing down taco after taco the lovely waitresses came by asking if I wanted a refill BUT not of my drink but of the godly golden consome. The attentiveness and kindness from the workers there really pushed forward the thought that they love what they do and care about their craft. The experience I felt was reminiscent to my own mother asking me if I had everything I needed. After not being able to take another bite they kindly packed my leftovers with more consome and again thanked and asked to come again by the staff akin to a traditional ramen shop. If you are able to come in please do this place is amazing and deserves recognition and I don’t write reviews with high praise unless I think they deserve it. Thanks ?

We usually drive to southside for this type of quality! So happy to have discovered this place. The consomé is so lean and flavorful not fatty. The meat is tender. The tacos de lengua are also 10/10. My son gets the quesabirrias de res BUT with goat consomé and he LOVES it. So good! Happy to have found a local place that’s actually worth it. Love that they great every single person that walks in.

A little place with a taste of old fashion beer just like Guadalajara Jalisco México! Delicious ?! Truly recommend you will love it♡

Great birria spot that I didn’t know we had nearby. We got birria tacos con un consome and a plato de birria, seco con consome al lado. The portions were generous and I loved that the server walked around with a jug of consome to top your bowl off if you wanted it. We also got two large horchatas. Came out to about $45 with taxes. Small establishment if you’re looking to eat inside, but worth the wait!
