I love Subway sandwiches. This place is different from the other places. The owner, who is working at the restaurant too, has the worst customer service skill ever.He was rude, so the sandwich had too much Sault and refused to return it... I left without eating it...

If you know what is good for you, please, do NOT buy from this sub way store! This owner, this guy is angry and thinks because he has a sign hanging up in restaurant, he can actually control you, especially if you are a strong woman, with a voice! He said that he is the manager, therefore and obviously this guy felt like he can actually tell me how to speak! Absolute non sense! First, I know that customer service, above all is most important! too bad this guy is going lose business due impart to his inability to show case good customer service. Then, he tells me to get out, only after presuming that I some how reside on the quote: South side of Chicago. "shout to my peeps, everywhere in Chicago, and abroad!"#We all play a part in this world!#Who do you think you are?

The so-called owner of Subway in Melrose Park, address: 2519. He was so mean and nasty; the way he tried to control how I spoke and how I wanted my subway sandwich was ghastly! First, this is America! Second, just because I am a woman does NOT make me a second-class citizen! And then if I disagree with his sentiments, he says to me, he will not serve me and the sandwich was already made! How dare he? This is after he tells me, "this is why [he] sold his store on the South Side of Chicago... I said to him, I don't live on the South side, I live here; so, not only did he presume wrongly, he told me to leave his store. And, I thought wow, he is a nasty, nasty person! I will NEVER come back into this Subway store ever again! The next time you see my face is when we organize and began to picket your business! So look out, you do not have the right to treat me (or anyone) like that! And then tell me to get out of his store, and just because you so-call own a business, who do you think will put up with your prejudiced notions! My advice to this so-called owner is that if you keep up this way of thinking and treating women, especially a Black woman, you will NOT have much luck in business. You need to recognize, who has the most buying power! The only last thing I say for you is I will pray for you. I pray that you get a better attitude and treat people with a level of respect and a level of kindness! Because your Customer service skills will not get you past first base! #We are all in this place together! #Evil will Not prevail!

I walked into subway today 7/01/2022 and the guy behind the counter had to turkey meat sitting on the counter. And he was opening a fresh bag of turkey meat, he put that in the container and then proceeded to put the meat that was laying on the counter on top of the meat in the container. When I asked him why did he have the meats laying on the counter like that, he got mad and said he wasn't gonna serve me. I was glad that he didn't wanna serve me because I didn't want any meat that was laying on the counter. And I'm calling the health department. Because he said he was the owner.

I ordered via the subway app and ordered avocado on my sandwich (mind you that it cost an extra $2) . They didn't give me any and didn't even put mayo on it either. Scammers

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Young man by himself, thinks it’s okay to make women uncomfortable and ask for their number. Very unprofessional. Honestly took too long to make sandwich. Do not waste your time, there’s better subways out there.

Worst subway you can work/go to. The owner is very rude and dosent care about the satisfaction of the customers but only about himself. Lettuce always black and taste old. When I eat from here I get sick

The young lady was very nice, she made my sandwich the way I wanted it with no complaints and it was actually peaceful dinning in. I was able to return calls, catch up on emails and I actually enjoyed the mariachi music!!!

SPOOKY SUBS Tasteful Halloween decorations and good-natured employees made for a nice, quick lunch. Since nearby Don Alfredo was closed on account of Colombus Day, I made the best of yesterday's situation and went to this Subway in Melrose Park instead. It's just off the corner of Lake St & 25th Ave. The 6" Italian BMT on toasted italian herb & cheese bread always satisfies, especially when I can load it up with as many toppings as I want: cucumbers, black olives, jalapenos, sriracha mayo, dry seasonings with oil & vinegar. Good selection of fountain bevs, surprised to see mango-lime agua fresca! Say whaaaaat. There must be something about this October that's gotten restaurants amped to put up seasonal decor. They had some cobwebs draped across a drink fridge, a couple pumpkins scattered around, and skeleton stickies on the windows. Small touches go a long way. Props for not smelling like the usual combination of stale yeast and urinal cakes that most Subways reek of. I'm sure the two ceiling fans played a part in keeping the air quality breathable for customers. I also noticed both workers cleaning up the sandwich assembly area. They thanked me for my business (you're welcome!) * TL;DR * What's it take for a Subway to get five stars? The world may never know.....though this location came pretty darn close. I really do appreciate the little things that make a big difference like cute decor, friendly attitudes, and clean work areas. Good on them.

The parking situation here is unfortunately so bad that even though I pass this Subway every evening on my way home from work, I just can't deal. It's not this restaurant's fault, but they are in a super crowded strip mall with a bizarre one way parking situation-and trash on the street- including a whole pizza in the middle of the lot- near a super crowded intersection. My teen ran in to Subway today while I circled the lot. Food was fine. Service was fine, according to my teen. But the parking lot stressed me out, so I'll just go to another Subway next time.
