Bill's Bar-B-Q is a great local BBQ joint in Metropolis, near the state park and casino. The atmosphere is like a BBQ joint down south. The pulled pork sandwich is decent and the smoked ham is very good. Some find the BBQ selection limited. The BBQ fries and coleslaw were not great, though some wish for crinkle cut fries. The onion rings are okay. Service is quick, excellent, and from nice people. The place is nice and clean. It is considered by some to be the best BBQ in the tri-state area, perfect for a road trip lunch.
