HIGHLY recommend! The cutest, local coffee shop I have encountered in years! The menu looked amazing if I would have stayed for lunch! I grabbed a dessert to take home, it was hard to choose from their menu. If traveling through Metropolis - I will definitely stop by again.

I work in Paducah and my employees and I used to travel to Metropolis often to eat Sissy’s. I have been trying to get Josh and Alex to move to Paducah for a year and a half and thank the heavens they finally opened one up here. I visited today and got my favorite Cowboy panini and jalapeño popper pasta. It’s definitely just as good here as in Metropolis. If you haven’t ever tried this place you definitely should!! Either location is a must try!!

We ordered Sissy’s for catering for our ribbon cutting event and it was the best option! They were on time, the food looked beautiful, and it was all really good. Highly recommend the fruit trays with the dip, as well as the southwest wraps. We will be using them again! Thank you for awesome service!

Absolutely freaking delicious food and beverages, with a wide variety and lovely enviornment. They host events for all sorts of things and they treat their workers so well. I'm loosely acquainted with the people who own the place and they're great people. Can't wait for the paducah location to open! Infinity stars ❤️

Was in town on Saturday for the Superman Celebration of '24. There were so many food trucks (which we had lunch from), but my wife and I wanted to try this local shop... Best Peach turnovers ever! The Cheesecake Brownie was heavenly... Everything looked so appetizing behind the glass. For as high quality of baked goods as it was, I'm surprised it didn't cost more. That said, please don't raise your prices! That's probably why we also got a third item, a gourmet sugar cookie that was Superman themed. Also delicious. I honestly couldn't tell you if this place is a hidden gem in Illinois or a destination bakery, but it should be the latter!

We were on vacation the last week in May. Stopped through this fun little town! Our kids were so excited to get some treats from Sissy’s. We checked the closing time and it said 5:30. We arrived at 4:56 and the lady behind the counter was less than thrilled we were there. My husband said if you are closing we can leave. She said “ You have 20 min” so we picked what we wanted and left in probably 10 minutes of being there. Would have loved to have felt more welcome but the treats we took home were delicious!!!

I love this place!! The staff is so friendly and helpful!! And the treats are amazing!! Today, I had a gooey butter cake bar, a strawberry smoothie, and a strawberry gooey cake cookie. My daughter had an iced coffee with a double shot of espresso and a Superman themed cupcake. We were both very happy. We'll definitely go again tomorrow!!

Not sure how to rank this. Can't really give food a rating when you are unable to try it because 'lunch' is over. Important details matter. If you don't serve meals all day, website & media should indicate that.I did grab a pastry, which was ok.I'll give it another chance just because so many others have indicated it is good.

best coffee. I bought a cold brew with cold foam. toffee nut. a lot of places it's either not enough flavoring or too much and it's too sweet. this was perfect. really good pastries and bread pudding.

Everything we tried, from their breakfast croissant to soup to pastries sweet and savory, even the drinks, was OBVIOUSLY made on-site and fresh that day, and they care about the food AND give a sweet heart of service to every customer I witnessed. Dined once inside and once at the outdoor area, and both were kept very well maintained and cleaned... This autistic customer also had a handful of questions that were answered without hesitation (so they know their product!). Glad that we are going to get to experience Sissy's over and over now that we know they (and their reasonable prices) are in metropolis! (and I saw with my own eyes a coming soon sign in Paducah?!?!) Highly recommend! And no, I do not work for them!
