Best Iced Chai Tea I've ever had.

I hate to give this type of review to a place I would vouch for. I was a everyday customer since they opened. And absolutely loved their coffee and food. But I really feel ever since they opened a second location the quality has declined tremendously. Maybe it's a new bean they use, or just the staff.
Another thing is the prices. As a business owner I fully understand but that shouldnt effect the consistency and quality of your coffee.
I got a cold brew and a bacon egg and cheese panini, no side fruit. And it was a few cents off 18 dollars, and it would've been nice if the prices were posted. But 8-9 for a drink and for a sandwich is a bit far fetched, especially for a location like metropolis.
And before writing this review I tried both locations and metros twice, the cold brew was overly sweet and the latte I got was very watery and weak I couldn't drink it.

This place is something of a gem. You never get these places often. But when they show up, you should keep them in your community. They bring the heart and soul back to the community while also providing a great service! Good coffee, food, and, of course, social interactions with employees were exceptional. Keep up the good work!

I came in to order a chai and I literally watched the girl pour the same chai tea they sell at Walmart and hand it to me… if I wanted that I would have made it at home. If you’re going to use a concentrate, at least get a good one. They also charge way to much for it u can go buy it yourself for $4 for 5-10 servings.

HIGHLY recommend! The cutest, local coffee shop I have encountered in years! The menu looked amazing if I would have stayed for lunch! I grabbed a dessert to take home, it was hard to choose from their menu. If traveling through Metropolis - I will definitely stop by again.

I work in Paducah and my employees and I used to travel to Metropolis often to eat Sissy’s. I have been trying to get Josh and Alex to move to Paducah for a year and a half and thank the heavens they finally opened one up here. I visited today and got my favorite Cowboy panini and jalapeño popper pasta. It’s definitely just as good here as in Metropolis. If you haven’t ever tried this place you definitely should!! Either location is a must try!!

We ordered Sissy’s for catering for our ribbon cutting event and it was the best option! They were on time, the food looked beautiful, and it was all really good. Highly recommend the fruit trays with the dip, as well as the southwest wraps. We will be using them again! Thank you for awesome service!

Absolutely freaking delicious food and beverages, with a wide variety and lovely enviornment. They host events for all sorts of things and they treat their workers so well. I'm loosely acquainted with the people who own the place and they're great people. Can't wait for the paducah location to open! Infinity stars ❤️

Was in town on Saturday for the Superman Celebration of '24. There were so many food trucks (which we had lunch from), but my wife and I wanted to try this local shop... Best Peach turnovers ever! The Cheesecake Brownie was heavenly... Everything looked so appetizing behind the glass. For as high quality of baked goods as it was, I'm surprised it didn't cost more. That said, please don't raise your prices! That's probably why we also got a third item, a gourmet sugar cookie that was Superman themed. Also delicious. I honestly couldn't tell you if this place is a hidden gem in Illinois or a destination bakery, but it should be the latter!

We were on vacation the last week in May. Stopped through this fun little town! Our kids were so excited to get some treats from Sissy’s. We checked the closing time and it said 5:30. We arrived at 4:56 and the lady behind the counter was less than thrilled we were there. My husband said if you are closing we can leave. She said “ You have 20 min” so we picked what we wanted and left in probably 10 minutes of being there. Would have loved to have felt more welcome but the treats we took home were delicious!!!

I love this place!! The staff is so friendly and helpful!! And the treats are amazing!! Today, I had a gooey butter cake bar, a strawberry smoothie, and a strawberry gooey cake cookie. My daughter had an iced coffee with a double shot of espresso and a Superman themed cupcake. We were both very happy. We'll definitely go again tomorrow!!
