Tried this place out after seeing it for years when I leave the grocery store. Prices seemed fair for tacos since everyone is wanting $5-$6 a taco these days. Now I see why they’re cheap, they’re the world’s tiniest most poorly proportioned tacos. The lengua taco had quite literally 4 very thin strips. The cabeza had a table spoon of meat thinly spread across it. The tortillas are also very greasy in an attempt to serve them “crispy”. It’s a pass from me. I’ll pay the extra buck or two and enjoy my food elsewhere. 2 stars because the flavor was actually ok on these but 2 cups of salsa for 4 tacos was also sort of lame.

There are far better places in the area. I'd recommend La Cabaña or Los Sarapes. Food was pretty bland. Birria tacos were very dry, no consomme included. I liked the inclusion of limes with the order. Elote was good. Chips were very greasy and not very good. Second time ordering here with similar results. Not horrible but very forgettable.

ordered a steak burrito ended up getting a lettuce burrito, no meat. wouldn’t eat hear again. if you want real mexican food do not eat here.

This place has the best tacos around. I have not found one thing i do not love from here. The Steak tacos are absolutely amazing along with the nachos.
I don't know if it's the lack of good Mexican food in Hawaii, but this place was fantastic! It definitely hit the spot. I wouldn't think that Chicago has good Mexican food, being pretty far from Mexico, but it really does. Shows what I know. We got a total of four burritos, three tacos, two chips and salsa, and pico de gallo, and four large horchata. I'm pretty sure there is something that I left out but all of that only cost me $70. That was a fantastic deal. We called the head to order most of these items and when I got there I couldn't help but ordered a few more things. There were also specials of the day. I wish I'd seen that before ordering more stuff but either way it was worth it. Hopefully I get a chance to come back before I have to go back to Hawaii.

Oh man I really didn’t want to write this review . I’ve lived near here for a year and come VERY often . Usually very good food for a better price than others around . Also love that they serve champurrado . However , last week I almost ended up in the hospital because I got food poisoning from their al pastor . Never threw up more in my life ! Didn’t wanna write this but if you come here avoid the al pastor , other than that everything is fire !

I came here because of the pictures and reviews shared by others. I wont even think about this place when I'm in the mood for tacos again. I've never had Mexican food so bland. I got 3 steak tacos with onion and cilantro on the small side for over $13. The salsa was watery & had notes of nothing the meat had no flavor. All I tasted was warm tortilla and onion. I don't know who cooked for all these other reviewers, but this place isn't even worth a 2nd chance. You should eat here if you have no taste buds. Mexican food made with no heart or soul.
