Decided on Mexican food but Fat Rosie’s is always so loud and too packed..so we tried BOM! Absolutely fantastic! Sat at the bar, had amazing service, the drinks were awesome and the food was amazing. Ordered the burrito (a must have). Staff was friendly, tvs on the wall.. place was busy but not packed where you’re sitting on top of each other like other places! Love it!

Just WOW! We landed here by accident when the restaurant we were going to go to was unexpectedly closed. What a great place!
Nestled in a strip mall, this family-owned restaurant takes home cooking seriously. Both the quesabirria tacos and the torta were literally stuffed with tender and juicy meat. Delicately spiced, the meat just melts in your mouth. Dipped in the consommé, the tacos are over the top delicious.
Homemade beans have a hint of chorizo and a good chunky texture. No wallpaper paste beans here.
Beef nachos were overflowing on the plate and were made with some of the best homemade chips I’ve had anywhere in a long time. Steak tacos were tender and amply stuffed. I have to rave about the salsa and the guacamole! The salsa was the perfect texture and had just the right amount of garlic and the guacamole was perfectly chunky with hints of fresh lime. Don’t skip the churros They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. A perfect end to a wonderful meal!
Overall one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. Ask for Lupe as your server. She’s friendly and really knows the menu. The owner was on hand and he’s a really nice guy who definitely cares about the quality of the food he puts out.

We enjoyed a FABULOUS meal here today. Highly recommend this restaurant. Taco Tuesday should not be missed. The taco dinners were delicious - Aunt Caroline's and Quesabirria Tijuana. Also had the house margarita, red sangria and the special fall sangria - all YUMMY. The service was GREAT - thank you so much, Alyssa! Chef Ron came out to talk to us - he is an absolute wizard in the kitchen. So nice to have such a quality restaurant close to home. Thank you!

The food is outstanding. My fiance is a chef and we are Mexican. The food had such abundance of flavor. The portions are perfect. Food does come out fast but you are not rushed. Service and suggestions are top notch as are the margaritas . We will be back often.

A Bite of Mexico is a hidden gem in Mokena! The moment you sit down, you're welcomed with fresh, warm chips and salsa – the salsa has that perfect blend of freshness and just the right amount of spice.
The shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious – the shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the avocado crema with citrus slaw gave each bite a fresh, zesty flavor that made me want more. I couldn’t resist trying the pumpkin margarita, which was the perfect fall twist on a classic, with just the right hint of pumpkin spice.

A great place to take a date or the family. The service staff was very attentive as well as the owner taking time to talk. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, the citrus and cilantro combination was yummy. (Tacos) The shrimp were grilled to perfection (so good) and served on a tortilla of your preference comes with a slaw and avocado creama. I added chicken tinga to the vegetable taco and the flavors were screaming in my mouth. So good, I had to order another. I definitely will come back. A great feel at home experience. Enjoy!

Margaritas are made from fresh ingredients, not premixed; good variety of flavors. Guacamole as well as all their entrees we have ordered have been very flavorful and extrodinary taste explosions. Service is awesome, accommodating, and very friendly. Highly recommend.

The Quesabirria tacos were delicious. This was our first time here and will certainly be back. Happy Hour from 2pm - 5pm, M - F, is a great reason to stop in.
