Apparently the manager at this particular location believes pickle juice should be drained out of all the pickles as well as a gardinara should have no oil. Who does this? Also this goes for the olives. Never seen such a hot mess in my life. The staff working there are extremely accommodating and explained everything to us. Never ever in 52 years of life in Illinois gardinara without oil. And pickles not sitting in pickle juice. Whatever logic this is is not how you run a business much less one that sells food. And this manager from my understanding was born and raised in Chicago just like I was. So that further boggles my mind how they leave the oil out of gardinara. Giardiniera is an Italian pickled vegetable condiment, often made with a mix of vegetables like cauliflower, carrots, celery, and peppers, preserved in vinegar or oil.

I was SHOCKED to see every “fresh veggies” for example pickles, gardinere, yellow banana rings, olives were DRY !!
Every silver container had NO juice in it therefore every “fresh veggies” was left to dry up in the open air.
Because of this they all looked mushy and rotten!
You CANNOT serve veggies this way SHAME ON YOU!
Will never go there again!

The old lady who seems like training a new guy has no experience with customers. She rushes you with your order, no smile plus the attitude even tho whole place is empty she is also stingy as hell. I stop at Subway every other day to grab a quick sandwich. I have never seen a place where they barely put anything in the bread even the sauce, if she could she probably would do raindrops with sauce lol. Also bread was old which I'm used to from other subways but this one was already become plastic. U just chew it and pray your stomach can melt it. New guy if you ever read this review, don't learn from her. U need to smile and have a happy voice when u a great a customer. No one wanna see walking death (zombie) on their lunch break.

The lady working, not sure if manager or not, was loud and rude. I ordered a steak and cheese. She proceeded to tell me "when you order its a #1 Philly"...well I didn't want the extra cheese or onions or peppers. So??? Then she was so short with me. As she started to train the young girl she's yelling at her too...telling her "no put cheese FIRST!" ummm...which she didn't do on mine??The food quality was poor, meat was barely existant, bread was falling apart. Smallest sandwich I've ever had at Subway. Never going back to this one. Subway has gone way down hill, no more.

Went in to get a couple sandwiches, the lady who took our orders mistook my sandwich order for a completely different sandwich, and once she realized her mistake she apologized profusely for it, it was okay though, everyone messes up sometimes, she also tried asking me if I wanted her to go back and make the right sandwich, I told her it was ok but she made sure multiple times before ringing up our final total to pay. 10/10 service and am grateful for such kind workers.
