I cannot support a business that appears to treat its employees as disposable or with a lack of respect. It is especially concerning to learn that an employee was terminated via text message from a chef rather than through the hiring manager—and that this was not an isolated incident. I don’t usually leave a bad review for a business, but I did feel especially frustrated last night for Valentine’s Day. 🫤 I know they were busy, so let me get to it… We had a reservation at 4pm. It took about 15 minutes to get our drinks… and initially, they didn’t know what drink I meant (a French Martini- they gave me a French 75, which is very different). I had a wonderful evening with our Guest Experience team at Bass Street Chophouse. We were fortunate to be taken care of by an outstanding server, Heather C, whose attentiveness truly enhanced the experience. Heather went above and beyond and made a huge impact on my team and I. The food was great also!
