I tried the Tomato Jam Danish today and it was such a delight! The pastry was light and flaky, the cream was not too sweet, the tomato jam not overly savory, with a perfectly balanced dusting of lemon zest. It’s only a shame I don’t live in Davenport - I would eat this pastry every day, if I could! The staff and space were equally as lovely! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
have had lunch there once or twice and today tried the caramel gochujang cookie and persimmon orange scone. also bought the same for my boss. we both loved the scone probably the best texture on a scone I've ever had locally and it was a pleasant light taste from fresh zest vs extracts. the cookie, was pleasant at first and then it slowly grew with heat that made it just delightful.
The sweet pastries are delicious but do not sleep on the savory items! Every single savory pastry I have ever had is a 20/10! There is nothing better than their salty, cheesy pastry items!!!
Fun selection of drinks, snacks and chocolate! I love the prepared foods, soups and cheeses!
