Good food and great server and bartender (and on a tuesday) plus I could order Redbreast on the rocks. Outstanding.
Great, fun place..everyone friendly and food great
Excellent fish and chips and cottage pie 🥧 Great atmosphere in a historic building
Always enjoy coming here.
Love this place, awesome german beer and food. Beautiful view on the river. Thus place rocks!!!
Intimate Irish bar with crazy good German food options. They aren’t shy with the pour for mixed drinks, and the prices are reasonable.
They had live music the night we were there, and it was really above average and quite enjoyable. Absolutely will return to explore more of the drinks and menu. Dinner and drinks ran about 44 dollars per person, but we chose from some of the more expensive items.
Kid-friendliness: Two families were there with young children eating dinner. The remaining patrons tended to be a bit older, 40+.

Special was supposed to be Prime Rib. Got there at 6 and they said they were out. Was disappointed.

Waitresses reach across table to sever others or just set everything at one end. Don't order chicken tenders they should be called chicken tuff, thin and cold. Fries not fresh and cold
Parking: Super small parking lot
Kid-friendliness: Not at all. Crowed tiny place for in door seating

The fried fish meal was definitely worth the price, it tasted great. On the other hand, we felt like the cottage pie was good but not justifiable on the price. The pretzel was decent as well.

I think my friends and I are falling in love with this place, especially the garden in the back.

Great! Hidden little speakeasy Worth the wait for any drink they make. Great outdoor patio during the summer. Usually live music playing. Unique picture of the Moon last time I was there!

The dumplings, soups, and beer have always been fantastic. Never fail to be good. The burgers are decent
The German sausage platter with the name I can't spell or say is delicious.
Overall, enjoy the place and hope more people notice the gem in downtown Montgomery.
Danny Boy's and Baum Biergarten share the shame menu. The difference between the two is one is inside like a speakeasy and the other is outside on the river front.
