Great place! I was blown away by the battered cod dinner. At $12.99 it was excellent. Probably the best fried cod I've ever had at a restaurant. Had the smoked Old Fashioned and it was carefully hand crafted before my eyes. My lunch companions has a burger and the weinerschitnzal (spelled wrong) and everyone loved the food.

I had seen this restaurant the last time we were in Montgomery and wanted to give it a try. They did a great job restoring the building to its former glory.

Instant favorite. My review is for the restaurant - Danny Boys. I 'found' this place while biking a few years ago. Was sitting across the street taking a breather when I spotted the restoration of this building. I believe they've been open for a while now, but we finally managed to stop in with some friends last night. The menu was slightly different there than the one I saw online, but the in-house menu seemed to have more options. Either way, they have a wide variety of choices ranging from burgers to traditional German plates to tacos, which I ordered. This was a group of three terrific taco's and a side of rice that will make me go back for more. My son had the plate of dumplings which I tried, also just as good. The service here was quick and very friendly. We're interested to come back in the summer when the outdoor patio is open. Cheers.

This is a safe refreshing place to eat, drink and play slots . The bartenders and servers are top notch. Food quality is excellent Prices fair.Their monthly tasting menus are affordable and fun . In warmer weather you can sit outside and enjoy river views

The restaurant/bar is in the lower level of Gray's Mill. A small space, but it highlights the history of the building with open rafter ceilings. The food was not what we expected but still good. The shrimp guacamole crostini was the best thing we ate. There was live entertainment and the bar tender was even making smoked cocktails.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp to the main entrance and an elevator to go down to the lower level restaurant/bar.

Great little restaurant in a large venue. The food leans towards German fare. They had live entertainment which was fun, a nice bar, and a very small dinning room. They also have an outdoor space but it was too cold for that. The food was good but I wouldn't call it great. The mashed potatoes were on the cold side. I did really enjoy the crostini with guacamole and shrimp. That was delicious. The dinning room has a lot of steampunk type decor and the service was great.Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options here.Parking: Very limited parking in front . There is additional parking across the street.Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly because of the set up and the bar. Many of the foods are either covered in mustard or in a brandy gravy.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is located in the basement of the building. There is a ramp to get inside and an elevator to take you down to the dinning room. There is not much in the way of handicapped parking, but there is some

A good variety of German inspired dishes (meatloaf, four sausage plate, and fish n' chips) were all tasty, served promptly and very hot.

Great Oktoberfest vibes & good food (pig roast) going on until Oct. 8th. Beautiful yet unpretentious and relaxing atmosphere on the river. Cozy Irish bar tucked in on the lower level inside. Live music on the weekends and great Oktoberfest beer on tap. Young and friendly staff. Grab a friend and go!

Fun, quiet spot to grab small bites & drinks right by the Fox River - particularly recommend the pork belly fries :)

The food, service and ambiance are great hear. The menu has a great combination of items you can choose and try some different but tasty. I went to reunion party and asked how each dish they ate and how tasty they were. I want to come back and try them. The great scenic view of the Fox River makes outside seating a September evening with live music was a great touch. The service was attentive.

Went with my family after a local event. Seated inside and it's a nice pub interior. We got the giant pretzel to share and it's exactly what you want. It came with three great dipping sauces and there was extra salt if preferred sprinkled on the side of the pretzel. I also got the double Onion burger. The onion rings were fresh and had a great texture. The burger was cooked exactly how I ordered it and came out fast. Overall the food was good and the atmosphere is great. The view outside along the water is a main draw here too and I except to be back for music and beers while enjoying the view. Service was good. Areas for improvement: needed more seasoning on the burger patty and onion rings. The beer selection could use a couple more local options besides one noon whistle beer. The focus is German/European beers and could expand.
