Black Bear Diner Morris Reviews
Every first day of vacation should start at a truckstop with a Black Bear Diner ♡ we went for lunch before once and thought it couldn't get too much better, but with breakfast today it was Top of the Line ❤️ their cornbread muffins count as a dessert ♡ eat it first, you won't regret it♡ they write that their wish is to offer dining that feeds both your body and your soul, its true ❤️
Let’s be fair—Black Bear Diner has had a bit of a rough start. Running out of food seems to be a recurring issue, and it’s almost always packed. But what truly makes the difference are the people—especially servers like Jodi, who go above and beyond to make customers feel valued and satisfied. Thanks to her, I left more pleased than I ever expected. And while it tends to sell out fast, the bread pudding French toast is absolutely a must-try!
Great food and great service all at a fine price, very great addition to Morris! Will definitely be back for more

Black Bear Diner Morris is a family restaurant located in a building with a cute black bear design outside and a matching interior that is very clean. The menu looks like a newspaper, which is a neat touch, and a dessert case near the entrance displays tempting options like bread pudding.
Experiences at the restaurant have varied. Some early visits reported significant waits for food, like pancakes and eggs, and occasional service lapses such as delayed greetings or drink refills. However, many recent reviews indicate the kinks from opening are being worked out, with service becoming more attentive and food arriving much faster.
The food receives strong praise. Popular breakfast items include an excellent breakfast sandwich on sourdough bread with ham, bacon, two types of cheese, and egg, alongside very good hashbrowns. For other meals, the cheddar bacon potato soup with a corn muffin, burgers and fries, country fried steak, onion rings, a ginormous salad, and the French dip with a baked potato are all noted as delicious and amazing. While the restaurant can be quiet, it is seen as a welcome and finally good family dining option for Morris, encouraging customers to return and try more items.
