“Though about 45 miles from our house, we dine here often - it is more than worth the drive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is attentive, prompt and friendly, salad bar with enough variety and abundance to be a meal in itself, and a bartender who makes a perfect vodka gimlet! The steaks and ribs of our choice have never disappointed us and the overall experience is well above five stars!”

“Always friendly; always great food. The restaurant might be situated in the Midwest, but the servers offer a “southern charm” that set you at ease. The dining room is small and intimate, but quite cold in the autumn and winter since take-out orders are being picked up on a near constant basis through the main entrance. I typically sit in a window nook to avoid the blasts of cold air blowing through the open door. The only way to fix this is to open a new location for delivery and pickup, but that seems remote. So don’t leave your mittens and hats in the car because you may need them if you will be dining inside the restaurant during winter. One might be better joining the line of take-out orders and returning home than eating inside during colder months.If I could offer a suggestion for another dish to add to their menu, it would be Penne alla Vodka. This would add some diversity to their sauces, as it seems only one sauce is used in each pasta dish, therefore each pasta dish tastes nearly identical in flavor. Spaghetti, mostaccioli, lasagna; it tastes the same in my opinion. I would encourage the proprietors to explore the possibility of a an additional sauce and experiment. The only other sauce they seem to have is marinara as a dipping sauce, which is quite tasty.I am not partial to their pizza, but the rest of the menu is top-notch. Whatever improvements I feel might be needed for a tastier pizza, the quality of pizza Isle of Rhodes prepares is still light years ahead of Happy Joe’s on the same block and is quite impressive for a small, family owned eatery. Whether your heart is set on pizza, pasta, or Americana fare, Isle of Rhodes is ready to please your palate.”

“I’m pretty basic so I usually go in for the 4 piece chicken with gravy. However, I decided to try the Triple 2 cheese deluxe. As I’m waiting for my food I’m just amazed by the teamwork shown and the service delivered. There was one worker that stood out, he had a very welcoming smile and they knew what they were doing putting him up front. “It's McDonald's. They serve quickly made food as fast as possible. “This a small town bar setting. Service was great. Food was great! It is a little loud in there but the food overshadows it. I recommend the chicken chunks and pizza as the best choices. Chicken Chunks come wet or dry but it does not matter which way you order them because they are very tasty!”

“Friendly waitress,good food,but it must have been short staffed . Our waitress not only waited tables,she swept floors,cleaned bathrooms and took care of cash register. With that being said she wore gloves ? while doing the cleaning.”
