Great bar! Like a REAL bar, where you can grab a beer and a shot, talk Chicago sports and neighborhood with Regulars, helmed by a great bartender, Ken. Bonus Points... having an incredible name (Bringer Inn, love that) and being right next door to, arguably, Chicago's BEST Deep Dish pizza.

Great neighborhood place. Super friendly everyone I have been there. A step back to the old days. Huge outdoor area for summer. The food is way above average for a tavern. The pizza is old school. Did I mention the popcorn machine throwing off the wonderful smell. Won’t be disappointed.

I wish we had more places like this in the city. Food was great and I loved the vibe. I didn't catch his name, but the guy behind the bar was fantastic.

Came to try out food and have a drink. We had the fishfry (perch), homemade cream of chicken rice soup, chili, and pot stickers! All was delicious. We'll come back. I grew up on the north side of Chicago and it had the same feel as a local corner bar.

All I can say is if you are lookin for a “real” bar experience! This is the place. A hidden gem. Don’t find too many of these around. Staff is awesome, food is phenomenal. Not sure if I should be leaving this review because I don’t want it to get commercialized. Forget I said that. Looking to buy a townhome across the street so this can be my hangout. Hope my wife is okay with it.?

It's a dive bar in the middle of Morton Grove. Not being a Morton Grove resident I didn't know what to expect. I have some relatives that live I. The area and suggested we have a family black out Wednesday gathering here. I wasn't looking to get hammered, just pass some time with family and friends at a location convenient for everyone. The place was above my expectations. Drinks and food were reasonably priced. The food was better than expected and the drinks poured stiff at a good value. There seemed to be a local vibe to the place. With a few patrons getting a little out of hand, but all and all a good time. I'd like to come back on another day that isn't black out Wednesday Thanksgiving Eve to get a better vibe of the place. Will definitely give it another chance. You should to. The place has an old classic vibes. Food was good, and drinks were reasonable. Come check it out

This is really more of the food review since we didn't avail ourselves to the bar this time. I got the Reuben sandwich cause it had the star on the menu. It was alright but could've used a little (a lot?) more dressing. A lot of the others in the group ordered wraps so maybe that's the way to go? They have so many potato options (fries, chips, crinkle, curly, tots, etc) - and the chips, at least for me, was really fresh. Also, the prices are still pretty competitive - at least nowadays. It is one of the older establishments in town and it kinda is a little run down. I mean, some of it is character and some of it just a lot of loose extension cords running around.

The first time I went there was in 1977 when I started my first job directly across the street after finishing grad school. If you're looking for a friendly neighborhood bar / restaurant with surprisingly wonderfully satisfying food at great prices (especially a juicy burger cooked the way you like it - medium-rare please - along with potatoes made six-ways-to-heaven), the Bringer Inn is a gem of a find!! (Good Tip: Watch for the specials on their sidewalk sign!!) I still love going there after 46 years!!
