Catering by Michaels recently catered my husband's birthday party and the experience was outstanding! They were incredibly accommodating to all of our guests, and the food was simply spectacular. Every detail was handled with care, allowing me to relax and enjoy the party without having to worry about anything. Even when we had a drop in our guest count last minute due to the hurricane in Florida, they were great at being flexible and making it work. Emily did a fantastic job organizing the event, and Sara, the day-of director, was amazing at making sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone raved about the food, and the pretzel bar was a huge hit! Having recently moved to Illinois, we will absolutely be using them for all of our future events. Highly recommend!

I used Catering by Michael's for my August 2024 wedding, and they were fantastic from our very first tasting in October of 2023. Every dish we tried was delicious (and generously portioned!). In fact, the beef entree was one of the best things my now-husband and I had ever tasted! But what really set CBM apart was Moriah - she quickly became our favorite vendor, personality- and expertise-wise. She was so great with everything from accommodating drink requests to picking out place settings and made what could've been an overwhelming process nice and easy. I highly recommend CBM for any catering needs!

From the beginning, they made everything so easy and smooth, especially for an event that can seem stressful and overwhelming. Emily, the event coordinator, was so communicative, thoughtful, responsive, and gave helpful advice along the way. We were so grateful to work with her! We also received so many compliments about the food served at our wedding – many of our guests said that was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding (and we agree!). The catering staff at the wedding were also super kind and accessible/approachable. We also had a covid-conscious wedding and asked the staff if they wouldn’t mind wearing masks and they all obliged, which we really appreciated. Catering by Michael’s and all the staff were also super attentive to details and made sure that everyone with allergies or dietary restrictions were well cared for. I called Michaels the day before a 30 person event in last-minute scramble and within 90 minutes, they had put together a proposal and menu. The next day, the food was delivered on time and with such great presentation. The food itself was superb - a bunch of guests made comments about the quality of the ingredients, meats, and cheeses. I worked with Maggie, the delivery event coordinator. She was incredibly prompt, kind, and a pleasure to work with.

Thanks to Michael's staff and Chef Ever the evening was a huge success. Emily was terrific to work with in planning the event. Beverly and Raphael were fantastic throughout the evening. We had a surprise rain storm after having set up the party outside.....had to take in all the cushions, cloths and bar….only to bring it all back out for the party after the rain stopped. I can’t say enough how accommodating they all were. Over all, such positive energy throughout the evening. Exceeded our expectations! I plan to use Michael's catering at our next event!

Moriah and her team at Catering by Michaels were simply amazing. Our wedding reception was flawlessly executed. It was perfect. They’re so professional. Everything was on time, efficient, easy, and most of all delicious. We and our guests are still gushing over the mac and cheese bar and salad station, which were massive hits and so much more fun than traditional plated entrees. The whole process of working with Moriah was delightful. She is so organized, responsive, helpful, and understanding. We don’t know where we would have been without her. We cannot recommend this outfit highly enough!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Catering by Michael’s. We worked with Emily for our March 9 wedding at the Garfield Park Conservatory. From the first time we met she was very helpful and kind. She really wanted to help make our day perfect and she did.The tasting was amazing, they made us feel so special and the food was wonderful. After that I still was not 100% sure of our main item choice because my family has a lot of picky eaters. They let me come back to taste a few other items to finalize the menu, which made me feel so much better!I could not decide on tables and settings and am a visual person, so Emily let me meet her at the studio where they get the linens, that was also so helpful and way above and beyond!Our day was perfect and it was in a huge part to Emily and Catering by Michaels. I do not regret using them for one second, we got so many compliments on the food (especially the short rib), I highly recommend them!

This year I couldn't cook for Passover. I contacted Michaels and they couldn't have been nicer. I placed an order and they kept me well informed. The food was amazing. They ended up delivering to me and the delivery person was very helpful . All the food was packed well and came with full directions. Their brisket was excellent as was their Apple Kugel and sweet potato pancakes. I wouldn't hesitate to use Michaels again.
