Classic American Diner. Once we were seated we had very prompt service, but it did take an unusual amount of time to be seated. Food was very good. I got the open faced turkey and it was enough for two people.

First time here, randomly chose this spot while driving home from Old Orchard. Every single employee was SO nice starting with a warm greeting as soon as we walked in, a sweetheart of a waitress and so attentive, the gentleman that promptly brought us coffee and water, and the owner/manager (?) that checked in on each table with friendly conversation. It was such a comforting environment to enjoy a delicious gypsy skillet and our first matzo ball soup. Thank you Kappy's...

My father and I have been coming here for months and absolutely love it here. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the food is always amazing, and the atmosphere this place gives makes it such a wonderful dine in experience.
