Ho-lee-shit, we had dinner at Pequod's Pizza tonight and I am insanely impressed by the quality of this deep dish. Dough is amazing, cheese is high quality, and all of our ingredients were fresh and fantastic. We had strong drinks, and some nice garlic cheese bread. Pequod's lived up to this foodie's expectations, despite me being a critic about deep dish at times. Just wow, what a meal! I will make sure I come back every single time I return to Chicago. Don't miss out on seeing and tasting this iconic Chicago spot. Also Pete is a great waiter, request him!

Phenomenal deep dish. With that being said the waiter was extremely rude when we arrived. Don’t blame your customers for being understaffed…

Food was good - pizza and fried zucchini. Quick service, especially considering it was deep dish pizza. Got in and out in 45 minutes. Staff was friendly.

Part of the pizza style, burnt crust not my style. Easy cheese not available on the online preorder. In fact, very difficult online ordering and zero way to find the inside menu that I could find.

i grew up in morton grove but never have had pequod’s! came here on a whim on a saturday evening (around 4:45-5pm) with no reservations but we got really lucky and got bar seating after about 20mins. the guys working were all super friendly and hospitable. it’s a small restaurant and they’ve got a great group of workers there, everyone helps each other and it was nice to see. i think they have a patio in the back which i wish we saw but maybe next time with a reservation lol. we got a medium pan with sausage, pepperoni, garlic, and basil and it was banger. ceasar salad was decent and the buffalo wings were crispy and sauuucy.

all in all, it’s a legendary local spot for a reason. it can be a bit pricey though. each topping is about $3-4 woo!! but still worth the try.
