Stopped in at Aunt Ginny's Cafe for breakfast, and I’m so glad I did! This charming little mom-and-pop spot serves up delicious, home-style meals with fantastic service. Lisa was handling the busy breakfast rush all on her own, and she did an incredible job keeping everything running smoothly with a great attitude. I ordered the Hungry Man’s Breakfast, and it was fresh, hot, and served quickly. Everything looked and tasted amazing—way better than any of the big chain restaurants, without a doubt! And the coffee? Absolutely great—hot, fresh, and exactly what you need to start the day right.

Beyond the great food and service, supporting small local businesses like Aunt Ginny's is so important. These places are the heart of the community, providing jobs and keeping our local economy strong. When you eat here, you’re not just getting a fantastic meal—you’re also supporting a hardworking local family. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this hidden gem! Highly recommend!

My favorite meal to eat out is breakfast so I've tried countless options while traveling in the US and abroad. Aunt Ginny's Cafe is absolutely outstanding!! I wish we had someplace comparable where we live on the East Coast. The entrees (meat and vegetarian), coffee and service were amazing. If you find yourself anywhere in or near Tazewell County, IL stop in. You won't be disappointed!!!

Portions were good sized, food was flavorable, and hosting staff warm and friendly. Wife's french toast was delicious and my omelette and hash brown were tremendously well done! CUDO'S!

The food is delicious, but my waitress left a lot to be desired. Lisa was VERY, VERY snarky and verbally berated me for "talking too much and not eating fast enough." Please explain to her that customers should be allowed to eat at their own pace, NOT HERS! I hope that I NEVER EVER have the misfortune to get her as a server in the future!

Nice little place. A bit expensive compared to other cafe/diner in the area
Wait staff need to pay more attention to customers and not their phone
