The host stand was weirdly picking on us making us wait longer than our reservation time claiming I was not dressed properly on Valentine's Day? Definitely will not be returning it was a hostile environment.

The food was wonderful, but the staff was either rushing us or forgetting just. We ordered drinks appetizers and soup. The food came out before our drinks and rather it be courses the appetizers and soup came together. Then we ordered our meal which came out fine but then we were left alone for an extremely long time. We both wanted to order another glass of wine but never did. Eventually we were offered to box up food and asked for dessert. At the end of dessert it took forever to get a check. It was also very hot

Valentine's Dat dinner with my gf reservation at 5pm table was ready once we got there. Server didn't offer valentine menu or mention special. Server also was not as attentive considering $50 plus gratuity was added automatically. Food was amazing and came out really fast once order placed. Great flavors and portion size. Dessert and drinks were also great. Would absolutely come back and visit

Our server was great, but unfortunately , the food was not . At this price point, I expect more. Mine and my husbands steaks were purple when they came out (we ordered medium and a medium plus). I sent mine back to cook longer and it still came out undercooked. The manager did comp us one steak. The thick cut onion rings were something you'd get from a bar, not an upscale restaurant. The dress code they publish is a joke, or at least not enforced that night. The environment was loud and disappointing. We specifically came to Chicago to go this restaurant and it was a huge let down.

Given it was New Year's Eve and there were allot of folk in the downtown only being 15min behind in seating is pretty good. It was hard to hear above the loud music upstairs and the people talking. The food was awesome and server Chris worked hard to move quick without making us feel rushed. I dont get why restaurants feel the need to blast us out. Some low key instrumental music would be perfect But maybe its just me, I love the romance abd being able to hear what my babe is saying

Packed NYE. Lucky enough to sit upstairs where it was quiet. Service was good considering how busy they were. Food was just OK. Not a lot of flavor in the Tomahawk steak.

We love Morton's. NYE was very busy & the staff did the best they could. The table next to us (an 8 or 10 top) was very loud making it hard for our table of 4 to converse. The food quality was excellent. LSC needs to streamline their Gift Card & Rewards program. Their Gift Card #'s are 16 digits long and if you have more than 1 or are combining with Rewards Points, the Servers seem overwhelmed with trying to process especially when trying to add gratuity. Our Server did not process ours correctly and after 2 attempts to get it right., We paid with a Credit Card.

Admittedly part of our party caught the flu and so our reservation for four became for two. We arrived before our 7pm reservation, we informed them of the change of plans, and they told us it would be no issue. We were then told to step aside until our reservation name was called. Following the lead of other groups, we stood at the bar and ordered a drink while ee waited for our table. The bartender told us we would have to close out our tab before moving to a table. We did one round and closed out. We then waited for 45 minutes until my fiancé walked to the host stand and asked how much longer. They told him to go back over and they would let us know. The hostess then proceeds to tell us they had moved our reservation to the bar without notifying us and the best she could do was move us to a hightop still at the bar. In the moment, we didn't argue because we had one drink each, were incredibly hungry, and had been waiting an hour at this point. However, we paid a $200 deposit this reservation and it is frankly ridiculous for them to have moved us from a reserved table to the open bar seating without our knowledge or consent and then not even comp us for half the reservation or offer us a single thing. And what frustrated us the most is that if we hadn't said anything, we would have waited all night. That was one of the worst experiences I have had and we had such a lovely experience when we came for my birthday. We tried our best to be understanding but it ended our New Years Eve prematurely as the hostess made clear our reservation was non-refundable, despite them not even honoring it fully. Suffice it to say we will never be coming back and I do not say that lightly or as someone who writes off a place from one mistake. I understand that half our party was unable to attend and I accepted that half the deposit was gone. I do not accept that they changed our reservation to the bar without our knowledge and kept the money. I am thoroughly disappointed.

We were extremely pleased with all aspects of our experience. The food was excellent, with large portions and the Chateaubriand cooked perfectly. The service by Charles was great- precise and well-timed. The maitre de Sebastian was very pleasant and went out of his way to make sure every aspect was satisfactory, which it was. The price of the meal was appropriate for its high quality. The only criticisms I have are minor. For some reason this Mortons utilizes tiny 6 oz cups for its coffee which is insufficient for many customers, requiring a delay in getting refills at the end of the meal. Additionally, this branch provides the leftovers in flimsy cardboard containers which do not close well. Perhaps this is secondary to some recycling initiative. However, these minor points did not detract with our high satisfaction with our holiday dinner.

I had a great experience here for Christmas dinner. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The portions were great and I had enough for leftovers. Think this is a great place for a date night. The overall experience and quality of the restaurant was amazing. Look forward to my next time there.

⭐⭐☆☆☆ 2 out of 5 stars We've been loyal Morton's guests for many years, celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays here, but our Christmas Day visit was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was overcrowded, with tables placed far too close together, and the music was excessively loud. While holiday music is expected, the volume made conversation difficult and completely took away from the refined dining experience Morton's is known for. The food quality also fell short. The bone-in ribeye and fries were overly salty, the fish had an unpleasant odor, and the lamb chops had an overpowering lamb taste very disappointing given the price point. This was a special visit for us, as we were celebrating Christmas and our 25th wedding anniversary with our children. We left feeling the experience wasn't worth the cost and that a meaningful occasion was spoiled. We had planned to return for New Year's Eve but decided against it after this disappointing visit. We hope this feedback is taken seriously, as Morton's has always been a go-to restaurant for our family.

We had a reservation at Morton's for Christmas dinner for myself, my husband, and our son. Despite having a reservation, we were initially seated by the door in the bar area, which felt inappropriate for a holiday dinner and was quite off-putting. When I asked to be moved, the hostess did not follow up. Thankfully, our waitress was attentive and kind and moved us to a warmer spot within the bar, but we were still not seated in the main dining room for Christmas dinner. The food was good, and I appreciated the availability of a gluten-free menu. Our waitress took great care of us and was very pleasant throughout the evening. That said, being seated in the bar area for Christmas dinner especially with a reservation detracted from the experience and was disappointing. I would expect better consideration for reserved holiday dining.
