The only bakery I've ever been to where someone who claimed to be a manager called me up, an hour later, and told me off. Was an excellent bakery and we did business there for 40 years. Not any more.

Ordered two pies one cherry and one coconut cream. Cherry was very good. The coconut cream was so so. I would recommend and order there again.

Love this place! Delicious pastry, dessert, bread and all pies. Our favorite is rhubarb pies. Can't stop ordering. Great place and friendly people, awesome service and great ambiance. Definitely will continue to order and recommend to all family and friends.

We got some sugar cookies and donuts during the pumpkin festival and they were fantastic!

On the website menu prices it showed the price for a strawberry rhubarb pie was like $5.86 get to the store and $17.10. That is bait and switch, it is against the law, and a way of losing potential customers and you end up in court.

Great baked goods. Pies, cookies, cupcakes, etc

First time visit to this bakery. It wasn't what I was expecting. Minimal goods in cases. No opportunity to purchase fun cupcakes or any other delights. The cinnamon rolls looked about size of poppin fresh from tube. The icing on the donuts was thin cracked and unappealing. All cookies prepackaged. Realizing all ingredients have gone up I understand small businesses dilemmas. But put out a good appealing product and charge accordingly the buyers will come. The staff was friendly but was limited on helping me due to her limited offerings. I went ahead and bought a couple donuts. No flavor dry. I feel bad for this small business. I gave them a 2 star because the store was clean and bright.

“The Confectionery” in Morton IL was an extremely great experience, wonderful people running the store, great options for treats! The chocolate chip cookies were to die for, and the Pastries were extremely well done! New favorite stop when in Morton!

I was a little disappointed with this shop. I’m new to the area and was looking for a new bakery for goodies.Upon walking in, there was no greeting. I walked around to see what was available. When I asked about what kind of donuts were in the display, it was if I was bothering her. Prices were a bit high ($5.35 for 7 mini cookies) I thought they would be amazing for that price, unfortunately they were not.The cake donuts were good, a little on the dry side. Pecan rolls were my best find there, they were better warmed up. The banana cake had a lot of flavor, but again a little on the dry side. The cinnamon rolls were good, also better warmed up.

first time visiting and it did not disappoint. We got an array of treats that were fresh and delicious. one donut didn't even make it home

The best cherry pie we’ve ever had. An abundance of sweet/tart cherries without the typical goo so common in fruit pies. The family size pecan roll is an absolute work of art, as are the cinnamon rolls. Bravo!
