Wonderful place to eat...a wonderful choice of food and what we all had was delicious. Dessert awesome....I had blackberry cobbler, and my cousin had the strawberry pie which was wonderful as well.

I am visiting from Arizona and the nice lady working the gift shop at the Hospital recommended this place. It had a real hometown feel and the food was fantastic. My friend and I both had the catfish and it was cooked perfect. I would highly recommend this place, Our server, Kristin (I think that's her name) was lovely.

Big John’s is the perfect hometown place to eat. They are only open for breakfast and lunch during the week on Friday evenings. They are open from 5 to 7 for dinner. That is always when we go and it is awesome. Not open on Sundays.

The problem with this place is, they are never open, and by the time they do open, most of the breakfast hours are over. So many times I have wanted breakfast and they are clised. They don't open for breakfast until 8:00 and by then most people are at work. When they bouught the place from the old owners you could get breakfast at 5:00 in the morning and you could not find a place to sit. It takes awhile fore people to know your open, but the food and service is great, gor they are a great family to do business with. God bless.
