The beef Manhattan was excellent!! Service was very good, I would recommend the catfish as well.

Food is good, waiting servers are nice, fairly decent food delivery time for a small restaurant, plus a nice view of the river.
Beef Manhattan was really good! My hubby had the catfish and really enjoyed it. Great view of the river too.
Service wasn't great, servers were not attentive to the guests'. Our food wasn't hot when it came out, luke warm at best. Pretty disappointing all around.

Used to eat here as a kid many many years ago, and I'd say it's even better now!
My partner and I both ordered Country Fried Steaks with mashed potatoes. When the plates arrived they were cold. The potatos were cold covered in steaming gravy. Poor quality, thin steaks that were fried too long. Waitresses took forever to come take our drink orders. Three different Mt Carmel residents mentioned this place as excellent and it has not lived up to expectations.
Go too this place as much as possible live 70 miles away wish it was closer this is one of my favorite places always had good food and the service I always get can't be beat in fact I am getting ready too go right now
Two and a half hour lunch with poor quality of food and slow service. Ordered a take out for invalid mother trying to order items on menu that she could eat. For whatever reason they did not save enough of what we ordered, so by the time they prepared her food they changed her order without notice.
