This is such a special place. I live in Rockford. We have more restaurants here but this place takes the cake. A beautiful drive from Rockford also. Every time I go I am reminded how special this place is. I send everyone I know here. Every dish I’ve ever had is amazing, the service is so warm and friendly and the place is crazy cute. They added on to their patio and redid did it so if weather is nice it’s def worth sitting on (it’s also covered!) I saved the best for last which is their cocktail program, as a cocktail enthusiast I feel you won’t find a better program around. There is so much love, thought and energy poured in it. Every drink I’ve ever had is complex, beautiful, and a scrumptious treat. Anytime I go whole staff makes it feel so welcoming but extra shout out to Julie and Shaina. They go out of their way for us in every way. I can’t say enough praise about this place! Go and treat yo self!

We had a delightful experience at Molly's. We were seated on the outdoor patio and really enjoyed the atmosphere! All the dishes we have had are delicious. This time I tried the Hawaiian Crispy Chicken. It was perfect- flavorful and the perfect mix of textures. The desserts are also simply amazing. We tried the Key Lime Bars and the Chocolate Mousse- Wow- I would definitely recommend them. We will definitely be back!

We love coming here for their quality of food and their unique seasonal offerings. This time did not let us down and there is always a Gluten Free option or they have the ability to adapt makes it a winner. As for the unique drink menu it is so fun to explore and try something so cleverly put together. Look forward to coming back soon.

Great food and friendly service a bit pricey. I can't understand why the best restaurant within 150 miles of Mount Carroll uses paper napkins. For the prices you pay, the least they could do is provide a cloth napkin.

The creativity and taste with both the food/drink is incredible. On top of that, tremendous service. The staff is not only welcoming, they know the menu inside and out. Every component of Molly's makes for a wonderful dining experience.

We ate outside on the patio, where it was lighter and quieter. The waiter was knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was delicious. We had green beans with sesame and soy, and homemade pappardelle. We had wine, but their cocktails are always delicious and innovative. Our dessert was peach trifle--Wow!

I dined there on 8/7 and had the sweet chili ribs, Ben's bread, twice fried fries and lemon bars with black raspberry compote. The ribs were done to perfection, the fries were the best, the bread yummy and the dessert was perfect , too. But most importantly was the service from Sheina and Wilson. They were two delightful young servers. Molly's is my favorite restaurant!
We had yet another outstanding meal at Molly's. The pappardelle pasta special was so good, and the serving size was more than two of us could handle. Ben's bread is a favorite and that was a great accompaniment to the dish. The green beans appetizer was delicious - and so inventive! Kye was great - so very personable and knew EVERYTHING about the menu! Looking forward to another visit soon!

We come here annually to have the Kale salad. It never disappoints. The fish special featured mahi mahi. The fish was perfectly cooked and nestled on an assortment of fresh vegetables. The dish was beautifully plated, had amazing flavors and a great value for the quality of the food. The ginger mocktail was festive and refreshing. Our server was attentive and worked with us on the timing of the meal. I love this restaurant and can't recommend it enough.

The food was amazing and the service was great! We were outside along with a large party and the noise level was almost unbearable. We were the only 2 on the patio most likely because nobody else wanted to be around the large party. We would've appreciated to be moved inside, but they could not accommodate.  otherwise the food was fantastic!
