Very busy on a Saturday! so wait on food was ok and food was worth the wait! Live in sterling and it seems like most of are family restaurants go on vacation and close at the same time, so glad I found this one open

Very good food! I had some delicious stuffed French toast with a side of spiced apples. Not at all expensive and fairly quick!
The Mt. Carroll Café is a throwback to the best kinds of local diners. It was immediate upon walking through the front door that this place was frequented and loved by the locals.
Most greeted me as I walked in, and the staff was very friendly.
While waiting for your food, feel free the explore the antiques shop the café is connected to! Seriously, how cool.

Good food. I have had the Pappa breakfast special every time. Great price. On Sunday get there early before the church crowd.

Gross greasy spoon - food is disgusting and low quality - another hillbilly place in a hillbilly town. Don’t go here - you’ll be sorry & very disappointed

I ordered the Mississippi Wrap and thought it was delicious. Nice portions as well.

Stopped here for breakfast while out on a two-day concert gig. Such a lovely little place with that small town vibe, I knew the food would be great! Got eggs, sausage and pancakes and it was all delicious. I'm from over 2 hours away, East, so this was such a nice little spot!

Took a long time to get waited on. The server waited on others that came in after us first.
