Poor experience. We went a little later in the evening and were one of 2 tables being served, the rest of the restaurant and dining area was empty, hence it was not super busy or packed at all. We didn't get served water until we asked. The food was cold and sub-par. My sandwich (eggplant Parmesan) was mushy and gross and when I asked if this is how it's supposed to be, they said yes. They offered to make another sandwich but said it would be the same quality so no point. My husband's sandwich was cold (portobello mushroom). No one checked on us, poor service and terrible food. I do not recommend.
Also since it was 30-40 min til closing time they started mopping the floors, even the floors by our table! It was wet everywhere and not a good feeling to be eating sub-par food while the floor around us was being mopped and the mop was being wrung out, dirty water in the bucket splashing around. Not a good ambience or atmosphere.

We used their catering services recently for a family party and they did a fantastic job! Their food came on time, was hot, and the order was complete & accurate - all at a reasonable price. Everyone loved it and was asking where we ordered from. We were also able to rent a tent, tables, and chairs for our event from Avanti, and it was convenient to get it all at a one-stop shop.
We will definitely use Avanti again!

Avanti Caffe is a true gem of Italian Cuisine in the Northwest Suburbs! It is worth seeking out should you be in the area. You would never know, but the location was once a Wendy's and is now your new favorite Italian place.
From the moment you pull in the lot, you get the idea that they are for real here. There are legit folks sipping espresso outside, there are Italian cars parked in the lot. Once you get in, you realize it isn't stuffy, sit here, order that kind pasta etc. kind of experience. Rather it feel like someone's family is back there waiting to share their food with you... and believe me, it is worth sharing. There are a great many highlights at Avanti - so I shall just name a few.
1) The Pasta e Fagioli - order this! 2) Tostinos - like the Nike tagline says... "Just Do It." 3) Pizza! Yes, in the land of a million pizzas, my family has demanded I find a way to sqeeze a Avanti Caffe large pizza through the drive through window and window of my car at this place - 1000% worth it.

So so succulent!! Food is fresh and literally breath taking. The prices are awesome, actually you can say that they are way way cheaper in comparison to most places. Seriously, the staff is so attentive and on point, the place itself is clean. Lots of love given to this place from the owner and lots of love give to the customers! I use to go to the one downtown, but boy am I glad to have discovered this one. Lots of parking, they even have a drive thru. Highly recommend the tostinos, the bread is orgasmic an crunchy, and they don't cut corners on meats and garnish. Ciao!

Disgusting Tiramisu, the texture or taste doesn't resemble it. Apparently it's fresh bc I called before going to pickup, since last few were not that good at all, it's actually worse every time.

Simply the best! Food is delicious and service is wonderful. Catered for our gender reveal and everything was perfect! Generous portion sizes and tasty too! Highly recommend the sandwiches, salads, beefs and pasta with vodka sauce. The dessert trays are fabulous as well. We will definitely be having Avanti part of our big moments again!
