We sat ourselves. Service was quite slow on a Sunday afternoon. Burger was good; tacos lacked seasoning as well as the chipotle sauce it came with. Very blend in taste.

We came from out of town to visit friends and wanted to come here after seeing great reviews, but what a disappointment. Food was great, ambiance was fine, but our server was clearly having a very off day... I have no idea what was going on but she almost seemed drunk from the moment she came up to our table. It wasn't just our server that we had an issue with, it was the menu, soda and the happy hour options. Happy hour is apparently DAILY 2-5pm, but it doesn't specify that it doesn't include weekends. When were Saturday and Sunday not considered DAYS? Say WEEKDAYS not DAILY. We planned on ordering most of the happy hour options, only to be told AFTER asking, that happy hour isn't included on weekends, even though the menu states "daily 2-5pm". I'm glad we asked and weren't blind sided when we got our bill. Our server had to check with management to make sure, and she came back to let us know, only to continue making negative remarks about the happy hour options and how they don't make sense for an extremely awkwardly long amount of time, which is apart of my reasoning for me thinking she was drunk or on something. One comment about the happy hour was along the lines of "our happy hours aren't happy, they're more like unhappy hours that need Zoloft". Aside from that, my fiancé asked for a coke, and got a completely flat one, so I brought it back to the bar and asked for a Dr. Pepper, Pepsi, Diet Coke and was told they don't have any of those, so I asked for a Root Beer and was told yes. We were brought $4 a bottled root beer in place of the flat coke we asked for, for which you can't get refills‍. Another thing that factors into the 1 star review, is when we asked for our bill, we asked for the bill to be split between the 2 separate couples, and we were met with an eye roll and the server telling us that we should have told her before we even ordered. I apologized because she made me feel bad but I've worked in restaurants and know that it's not hard to separate 2 apps, 3 plates and 4 drinks.(mind you, it took 12 seconds for her to make the bills) We had a blonde server and her name started with a J... This place needs to get it together. Fix the happy hour menu and stop trying to trick people and check your servers attitudes and BAC before they start their shifts.

The reason for a few less stars here is really due to what I believed was mismanagement of the waitlist when I attended here last. I actually thought the food was pretty good and my server was a great balance of attentive but straight to the point. For what it's worth it was a busy night but I was told we'd be sat in about 45 minutes, but that quickly ended up being over an hour and change. As we watched from outside the restaurant, it seemed like there were seats around the bar that were not being used but there were a lot of people watching sports that kind of congregated around the area. All in all, if it's not a busy time, I am sure they do a good job but our experience just felt a bit off the night we went.

Great place and time! Our waitress was very attentive but Jeanine was fantastic! She came by multiple times to check on, talk to us and ensure everything was going well.Love Emerson’s! Outside of the price of the bourbon, it was a little high at $16 a piece for Basil Hayden and no anejo tequila, no complaints at all!We will definitely be back but bourbon is off the menu.

One of my local favorites, food is always really good and the beer selection is also always good, went there tonight, had the fish and chips, would have been a 5 star but they put the fish atop some very wet lettuce making the fish soggy. : (

Terrible management, poor service. They clearly do not care about their customers and staff. I highly recommend not to go to this joint.

Our food and drinks were good. On their menu they have a Processco and a Champagne. I ordered a Processco and then decided to order the Champagne. There were no bubbles and tasted wrong. I told our server that there was something wrong it didn't taste right and I wanted the Processco instead. On our bill was a charge for a Chardonnay in addition to the 2 Processcos. I asked her to take it off as I didn't order nor drank it. She said you dod order it but didn't like it. She said I can't take it off I will need to talk to my manager. In a snippy tone. He did remove it. Really uncalled for. You didn't hear the right thing and brought me the wrong thing and your going to charge me for your error!!

Pot roast tacos are phenomenal just service is usually lacking every time I've been here. Placed an online order once, family in front of me waiting to be sat, manager finally came around and sat them and I was still waiting for over 10 minutes until someone finally acknowledged I was standing at the hostess stand and at that point I was the only standing there and not even half the restaurant was filled. Most seemed too occupied with their own private conversations and I only saw 1 bartender actually working picking up the slack of everyone else.

very nice server but very busy, had to ask for flatware. I got nachos, perhaps the worst of my life. chips were flimsy and a bit soggy. cheese was quite thin but short rib meat was excellent, my friend got a veggie burger that was pasty. she used to get a black bean burger that was fabulous. she asked and was told that they changed vendors. they should change back. won't be going back. I had Salmon Caprese it was presented elegantly and the fries were amazing. The balsamic marination of salmon hit really different and combination with mozzarella cheese was mind blowing. Highly recommended!! If you are fish lover even not just dare to do so… will love it!
